The original end credits song Not Alone from Jennifer Morrison’s feature directorial debut Sun Dogs has been released. The film’s composer Mark Isham (Once Upon a Time, Crash, A River Runs Through It) has produced the song, which is written by Julia Morrison Summers and performed by Morisson Summers, Isham, composer/guitarist Bryce Jacobs (Drive Hard, Random Tropical Paradise) and Grammy Award-winning violinist Charlie Bisharat. Premiering in the U.S. today is the BBC movie The Child in Time directed by Julian Farino and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Kelly Macdonald, Stephen Campbell Moore and Saskia Reeves. The film’s original music is composed by Adrian Johnston (Becoming Jane, Brideshead Revisited, The Strangers: Prey at Night, Kinky Boots). Also premiering tonight is the NBC television event Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert executive produced by Webber, Rice, Marc Platt, Craig Zadan & Neil Meron. Mark Isham to Score Jennifer Morrison’s ‘Sun Dogs’
Mark Isham has signed on to score the upcoming comedy Sun Dogs. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actress Jennifer Morrison from the Isham-scored ABC drama Once Upon a Time and stars herself, alongside Michael Angarano, Melissa Benoist, Allison Janney and Ed O’Neill. The movie follows a young misfit in his repeated failed attempts to join the Marines and serve his country. When his last interview fails, he sets his sights on a casino manager who may or may not be a terrorist mastermind. Anthony Tambakis (Warrior, Jane Got a Gun) wrote the screenplay.
