Free Agent Music and Entertainment will release a soundtrack album for BET+ original movie A Miracle Before Christmas. The album features nine Christmas songs from the film performed by Amber Smoke, Wirlie Morris, Rick Dorn, Whitney McClain, Johnny Gill, Charisa the Violin Diva, Bela Sereny and Khalisah Saniyah. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 7 and will be available to stream/download here. A Miracle Before Christmas is written and directed by LazRael Lison and stars LeToya Luckett, Romeo Miller, Keith David, Demetrius Shipp Jr, Porscha Coleman and Paula Jai Parker.
Soundtrack Album for BET’s ‘Twenties’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the BET original series Twenties. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Amanda Jones (Cherish the Day, Home). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Twenties is created by Lena Waithe and stars Jonica “Jojo” T. Gibbs, Christina Elmore and Gabrielle Graham. The comedy follows a screenwriter and her best friends as they chase their dreams in Los Angeles and try to figure out life, love and the professional world.
Chris Alan Lee Scoring BET’s ‘The First Wives Club’ Series & Netflix’s ‘No Good Nick’
Chris Alan Lee has been tapped to score the upcoming BET original series The First Wives Club. The show is developed by Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip, The Sun Is Also a Star) based on the 1996 feature of the same title and stars Ryan Michelle Bathe, Jill Scott and Michelle Buteau. The comedy revolves around three women who band together after their marriages fall apart and find strength in their sisterhood — and of course a little revenge. Oliver is also executive producing the project with Karen Rosenfelt (The Twilight Saga, Marley & Me) and Scott Rudin (No Country for Old Men, The Social Network).

BET’s ‘American Soul’ to Feature Music by Kurt Farquhar
Kurt Farquhar has announced that he will be composing the score for the upcoming BET original series American Soul. The show is created by Devon Greggory & Jonathan Prince and stars Sinqua Walls, Jason Dirden, Iantha Richardson, Christopher Jefferson, Katlyn Nichol and Jelani Winston. The drama is based on the life and career of Soul Train creator Don Cornelius and centers on his Soul Train dancers, crew and musicians in an unforgiving Hollywood in the 1970’s – how they work, play, rise and fall against the backdrop of Soul Train.
Soundtrack Album for BET’s ‘Death Row Chronicles’ to Be Released
A soundtrack album will be released for the new BET docu-series Death Row Chronicles. The album features songs from and inspired by the show by artists including Snoop Dogg, Ali Nikou, Sam Sneed, Lady of Rage and Nate Dogg, as well as a never-released track performed and produced by Kurupt. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 23 and physically next month and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Death Row Chronicles produced by Entertainment One (eOne) & Creature Films explores the rise of the genre-defining record label and examines the myths and legends that have sprung up around Death Row, as well as celebrate the groundbreaking music it produced and how it influenced some of today’s biggest hip hop artists.
