Walt Disney Records has released a new soundtrack EP for the Disney+ original animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. The EP features four songs from the show’s fourth and final season, including two tracks co-written and produced by Roccstar and performed by Kenyon Dixon & Sevyn Streeter and two tracks co-written by the show’s composer Kurt Farquhar and performed by D’Anna Stewart and Cedric The Entertainer.. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to all four songs below. The label has previously released two full albums featuring the songs from Season 1 & Season 3. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is created by Bruce W. ‘Murder City’ Soundtrack Album Released
Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the crime thriller Murder City. The album features the film’s original score composed by Kurt Farquhar (Black Lightning, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, The King of Queens, First Kill, Moesha). Also included are songs by Cheyenne, Omega Tha King and Nadine Lafond. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album. Murder City is directed by Michael D. Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘First Kill’ to Be Released
Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series First Kill. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Kurt Farquhar (Black Lightning, The King of Queens, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, Moesha, Sister, Sister). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 10 and will be available to stream/download here. First Kill is created by V.E. Schwab and stars Sarah Catherine Hook, Imani Lewis, Elizabeth Mitchell, Jason Robert Moore, Aubin Wise, Gracie Dzienny and Will Swenson. The supernatural teen romance drama follows a teenage vampire who sets her sights on a new girl in town for her first kill, when she finds out her crush is a vampire hunter.

Kurt Farquhar Scoring Lifetime’s ‘Wendy Williams: The Movie’
Kurt Farquhar (Black Lightning, The King of Queens, Moesha, Sister, Sister, Being Mary Jane) has composed the original score for the new Lifetime original film Wendy Williams: The Movie. The biographical drama is directed by Darren Grant (Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Make It Happen) and stars Ciera Payton in the title role, alongside Morocco Omari as Wendy’s ex-husband Kevin Hunter. The movie chronicles Williams’ journey, from her scrappy upstart days in urban radio to the success of her own syndicated talk show.
