Kurt Farquhar is composing the score for the upcoming ABC Family drama Stitchers. The show is created by Jeffrey A. Schechter (Overruled!) and stars Emma Ishta, Kyle Harris, Ritesh Rajan, Salli Richardson-Whitfield and Allison Scagliotti. The procedural series follows a young woman recruited into a covert government agency to be ‘stitched’ into the minds of the recently deceased, using their memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave. Schechter is also executive producing the project with Jonathan Baruch and Rob Wolken.

Weekly TV Music Roundup (January 5, 2014)
Premiering on Tuesday, January 7, is the new CBS drama Intelligence created by Michael Seitzman, executive produced by Tripp Vinson and David Semel and starring Josh Holloway, Meghan Ory, John Billingsley, PJ Byrne, Michael Rady and Marg Helgenberger. The show’s original score is composed by Clinton Shorter (District 9, Contraband, 2 Guns). Intelligence will air every Tuesday night on CBS.
Fall 2011 Television Music Roundup (Part 4): NBC
In our fourth part of our fall television music series, we are taking a look at the new and returning shows on NBC:
Among the new shows on the network that premiered this fall is the fantasy crime drama Grimm created by David Greenwalt & Jim Kouf and starring Russell Hornsby, David Giuntoli, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz and Reggie Lee. The show’s score is written by Richard Marvin (U-571, Surrogates, Six Feet Under). The drama centers on a homicide detective who learns that he is a descendent of a group known as “Grimms” who fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Grimm currently airs every Friday night on NBC and is expected to receive a full season order in the near future.
