Danny Dunlap (I’m Sorry) and Andrew Feltenstein & John Nau (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, The House, The Bronze, Casa de mi Padre) have teamed up to score the new Amazon Freevee original series Jury Duty. The show is created by Lee Eisenberg & Gene Stupnitsky (The Office, Bad Teacher, Good Boys) and stars Ronald Gladden, James Marsden, Alan Barinholtz, Susan Berger, Cassandra Blair, David Brown, Kirk Fox and Ross Kimball.

Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the horror thriller The Curse of La Llorona directed by Michael Chaves and starring Linda Cardellini, Patricia Velasquez and Raymond Cruz. The film’s original music is composed by Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring, Annabelle, Insidious, The Prodigy). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last week. Already playing in theaters since Wednesday is the faith-based drama Breakthrough directed by Roxann Dawson and starring Chrissy Metz, Josh Lucas, Topher Grace, Mike Colter, Sam Trammell, Marcel Ruiz and Dennis Haysbert. Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Wonder, The Affair, The Good Shepherd) has composed the film’s original score. Opening in most theaters is the survival drama Adrift directed by Baltasar Kormákur and starring Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin. The film’s original music is composed by Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, Patrick Melrose, Gunpowder, The Current War). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as Emiliana Torrini’s cover of Tom Waits’ I Hope That I Don’t Fall in Love With You. Andrew Feltenstein & John Nau Scoring ‘Action Point’
Andrew Feltenstein and John Nau are scoring the upcoming comedy Action Point. The film is directed by Tim Kirkby (Brockmire) and stars Johnny Knoxville. The movie imagines what would happen if Knoxville and his cohorts irresponsibly designed and operated their own theme park. Knoxville also co-wrote the screenplay with John Altschuler & Dave Krinsky (Silicon Valley, King of the Hill, Extract) and is producing the project with Billy Gerber (Gran Torino, The Dukes of Hazzard) and Derek Freda (Bad Grandpa).

Andrew Feltenstein, John Nau and Danny Dunlap are scoring the new truTV original series I’m Sorry. The show is created by actress Andrea Savage (Veep, Episodes) who also stars in the comedy as a confident comedy writer, wife and mom, who comically exposes her inner immaturity and neuroses through unexpected life situations. Tom Everett Scott, Olive Petrucci, Jason Mantzoukas, Nelson Franklin, Martin Mull and Kathy Baker are co-starring. Savage is also executive producing the project with Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell & Adam McKay (The Big Short, Talladega Nights), Joey Slamon, Jason Zaro (Brigsby Bear), Billy Rosenberg and Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone & Akiva Schaffer (Popstar: Never Stop Stopping, Hot Rod).

‘The House’ Soundtrack Announced
Varese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack album for the comedy The House. The album features the songs from the movie, including previously unreleased material from LL Cool J and Charli2NA of Jurassic 5. Also included is Snoop Dogg’s Gz And Hustlas and Alabama 3’s The Sopranos theme song Woke Up This Morning, as well as selections from the film’s original original score composed by Andrew Feltenstein & John Nau (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Casa de mi Padre). The soundtrack will be released on June 30, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The House is directed by Andrew Jay Cohen and stars Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, Jason Mantzoukas, Nick Kroll, Allison Tolman, Michaela Watkins, Ryan Simpkins, Jessie Ennis, Rob Huebel and Cedric Yarbrough.
Andrew Feltenstein & John Nau to Score Bryan Buckley’s ‘Where the White Man Runs Away’
Andrew Feltenstein and John Nau are set to reteam with director Bryan Buckley on the upcoming comedy drama Where the White Man Runs Away. The film is written and directed by Buckley and stars Evan Peters, Al Pacino, Barkhad Abdi and Melanie Griffith. The movie is based on the book The Pirates of Somalia by Jay Bahadur and tells the true story of the rookie journalist who forms a half-baked plan to embed himself among the pirates of Somalia and ultimately succeeded in providing the first close-up look into who these men are, how they live, and the forces that drive them.
Andrew Feltenstein & John Nau to Score ‘The House’
Andrew Feltenstein and John Nau have been tapped to score the upcoming comedy The House. The film is directed by Andrew J. Cohen and stars Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, Ryan Simpkins, Jason Mantzoukas, Nick Kroll, Cedric Yarbrough and Allison Tolman. The movie follows a husband who joins with his neighbors to start an illegal casino in his basement after he and his wife blow their daughter’s college fund. Cohen has also co-written the screenplay for the New Line Cinema production with Brendan O’Brien. Ferrell is also producing the project through his Gary Sanchez production company with Adam McKay (The Big Short, The Other Guys, Talladega Nights).
