The film’s original music is composed by Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, Patrick Melrose, Gunpowder, The Current War). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as Emiliana Torrini’s cover of Tom Waits’ I Hope That I Don’t Fall in Love With You. The film is directed by Silas Howard and stars Jim Parsons, Claire Danes, Ocatavia Spencer, Ann Dowd, Michaela Watkins and Priyanka Chopra. The movie follows a Brooklyn couple trying to raise their 4-year-old-son who prefers to dress up as a princess instead of G.I. Joe. Daniel Pearle wrote the screenplay based on his 2013 stage play. Parsons is also producing the project with Todd Spiewak (Young Sheldon), Eric Norsoph, Paul Bernon (Drinking Buddies, Adult Beginners) and Rachel Song.
