Premiering tonight is the AMC original series Kevin Can F**k Himself created by Valerie Armstrong and starring Annie Murphy, Eric Petersen, Mary Hollis Inboden, Brian Howe, Raymond Lee and Alex Bonifer. The show’s original music is composed by Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, A Teacher, I’ll See You in My Dreams, Gemini, Divorce, Her Smell, The Hero). Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British mini-series Us adapted by David Nicholls from his novel of the same title, directed by Geoffrey Sax and starring Tom Hollander, Saskia Reeves, Tom Taylor, Sofie Gråbøl, Iain De Caestecker and Thaddea Graham. Oli Julian (Catastrophe, Sex Education, How to Build a Girl, Code 404, Episodes, Plebs) has composed the show’s original music. Manners McDade has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last year when the comedy drama premiered in the UK on BBC One. Premiering in the U.S. today is the Norwegian mini-series Atlantic Crossing written by Alexander Eik & Linda May Kallestein, directed by Eik and starring Sofia Helin, Kyle MacLachlan and Tobias Santelmann. The show’s original music is composed by Raymond Enoksen (Haunted, Ice Road Rescue). Dreamscore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last year when the 8-part drama premiered overseas. Also premiering tonight is the Fox TV special Malika the Lion Queen directed by Karin Slater and narrated by Angela Bassett. Jasha Klebe (Planet Earth II, The Black Godfather, Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom, Medal of Honor, Challenger Disaster: Lost Tapes) has composed the original music for the special. The documentary, which follows a powerful pride of lions in South Africa’s Kruger National Park and explores the exhilarating and harrowing life of lioness Malika, will air on Fox tonight. ‘Unforgotten’ Seasons 3 & 4 Soundtrack Album Released

Lakeshore Records has released a new soundtrack album for the ITV crime drama Unforgotten. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third and fourth season composed by Emmy Award winner Michael Price (Sherlock, Eternal Beauty, Dracula, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, Horrid Henry: The Movie, Wild Target, Just Jim). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Silva Screen Records has previously released two soundtracks featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 & Season 2. Unforgotten is created by Chris Lang and stars Nicola Walker, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Peter Egan, Jordan Long, Pippa Nixon, Lewis Reeves and Carolina Main.

Soundtrack Album for BBC’s ‘Mrs. Wilson’ to Be Released

MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the BBC and PBS Masterpiece mini-series Mrs. Wilson. The album features the show’s original music composed by Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Fate: The Winx Saga, Lost Girls, This Beautiful Fantastic, Untouchable, Calibre). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Mrs. Wilson is written by Anna Symon, directed by Richard Laxton and stars Ruth Wilson, Iain Glenn, Keely Hawes, Anupam Kher and Fiona Shaw. The drama is set 1940s and 1960s London and 1930s India and follows the title character who thinks she is happily married until her husband dies and a woman turns up on the doorstep claiming that she is the real Mrs. Wilson.

Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC Earth docu-series Primates. The album features selections of the original score from the show composed by Adam Lukas (Being The Queen, Roman Empire II) & Denise Santos (Gathering Storm, Savage Kingdom, Apollo: The Forgotten Films) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 5, 2021 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Primates created by the BBC Studios Natural History and narrated by Chris Packham follows our closest animal relatives and reveals how much we have in common with them.

Soundtrack Album for PBS Documentary ‘Hemingway’ to Be Released

In a Circle Records will release the official soundtrack album for the PBS documentary Hemingway. The album is produced by Grammy award-winning producer and violinist Johnny Gandelsman and features the Hemingway-inspired original music from the three-part, six-hour film composed by artists including David Cieri, Gyan Riley, Shanir Blumenkranz, Gandelsman himself, Mathias Kunzli, Michael Nicolas & others. Hemingway is directed by Ken Burns & Lynn Novick and examines the visionary work and the turbulent life of Ernest Hemingway, one of the greatest and most influential writers America has ever produced. Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British mini-series The Long Song created by Andrea Levy, directed by Mahalia Belo and starring Tamara Lawrance, Hayley Atwell, Jack Lowden, Jordan Bolger, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Gordon Brown, Ayesha Antoine, Leo Bill, Sir Lenny Henry and Madeleine Mantock. The show’s original music is written by late composer Jonathan Rhys Hill (The Trial of Christine Keeler). The 5-part drama, which centers on an indomitable, young slave who works on a sugarcane plantation with her detestable mistress, premiered in the UK in 2018 on BBC One and is making its domestic debut as part of PBS’ Masterpiece series.

Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, February 1, is the Scandinavian limited series The Investigation directed by Tobias Lindholm and starring Søren Malling, Pilou Asbæk, Pernilla August, Rolf Lassgård, Laura Christensen, Anders Juul, Henrik Birch, Hans Henrik Clemensen, Dulfi Al-Jabouri and Charlotte Munck. Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen (Before the Frost) has composed the show’s original music. The 6-part drama, which explores the complex real-life investigation surrounding the 2017 murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall, one of the most notorious criminal cases in Danish media history, is making its U.S. debut on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

Manners McDade has released a soundtrack album for the BBC mini-series The Woman in White. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Jon Opstad (Black Mirror, We Hunt Together, Silent Witness, Safe House). The Woman in White is written by Fiona Seres based on Wilkie Collins’ novel and stars Ben Hardy, Jessie Buckley, Olivia Vinall, Dougray Scott, Riccardo Scamarcio and Charles Dance. The 5-part drama directed by Carl Tibbetts centers on the lives of two half-sisters and their drawing master as they get caught up in a deadly conspiracy revolving around a mentally ill woman dressed all in white.
