  1. Hans Boepple says:

What is the name of the violinist
    who plays Bach so beautifully?

    Thank you –

  2. Am I hearing, in the solo piano music when Hemingway’s typewriter is being featured, music by Erik Satie? If not, whose music is that?

    • David Reynolds says:

Yes! Satie’s Gymnopédies appears during Episode 1. Love that piece…

      • David Reynolds says:

Forgive me – it’s Gnossienne #1, not Gymnopédies.

  3. Clint says:

What is the piano piece at the end of the film when details of Hemingway’s death are being related?

    • Terry Parks says:

Kurtis Parks is one of the piano artists in this documentary. His piano music is background during some commentary. He is my son.

  4. Clint says:

What is the piano piece at the end of the film when details of Hemingway’s death are being related?

    • E says:

Have been searching for that song too, simple yet haunting. Was looking at the music credits from the end of the third episode and based on that I think it must be Twilight by David Cieri – – a song I’ve been unable to find anywhere and thus can’t confirm.

    • Ali says:

It’s Bach, but I think an arrangement made for the documentary. It’s Partita No. 1 in B minor, BWV 1002: V. Sarabande. Most versions a person can find are violin. That slow piano is wonderful though.

  5. Carol Irvin says:

Love the soundtrack especially Erik Satie 🥰

  6. bruce r. b. says:

at the end of the second episode, i was nodded off and the music woke me what is it? it plays as the credits are shown.
