BMG will release the official soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Extraction. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Solider & Civil War, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Wreck-It-Ralph, X-Men: First Class) & Alex Belcher (21 Bridges, IO). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 24 and will be available to stream/download here. Extraction is directed by Sam Hargrave and stars Chris Hemsworth, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Randeep Hooda, David Harbour and Golshifteh Farahani. The thriller produced by Joe & Anthony Russo centers on a lack market mercenary who embarks on the deadliest mission of his career when he’s enlisted to rescue the kidnapped son of an international crime lord.

Premiering tonight is the Showtime original documentary The Longest War directed by Greg Barker and executive produced by Alex Gansa & Howard Gordon about America’s involvement in Afghanistan, now the longest war in U.S. history. The film’s original music is composed by Fernando Velazquez (The Impossible, The Orphanage, Crimson Peak, A Monster Calls, Hercules, Devil). Premiering tomorrow, April 20, is the Netflix animated series The Midnight Gospel created by Pendleton Ward & Duncan Trussell and starring Trussell himself, Phil Hendrie, Drew Pinsky, Joey Diaz, Natasha Leggero, Johnny Pemberton, Christina Pazsitzky and Stephen Root. Henry Jackman to Reteam with Anthony & Joe Russo on ‘Cherry’
Henry Jackman (X-Men: First Class, Wreck-It-Ralph, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Kong: Skull Island) is is set to reteam with directors Anthony & Joe Russo (Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame) on the upcoming drama Cherry. The film’s cast includes Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgard, Jack Reynor, Forrest Goodluck, Ciara Bravo, Jeff Wahlberg, Michael Gandolfini and Kyle Harvey. The movie is based on Nico Walker’s New York Times bestselling novel and tells the true story of the author, a former Army medic who returned from Iraq with extreme undiagnosed PTSD and fell into an opioid addiction and began robbing banks.

Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the thriller 21 Bridges. The album features the film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Wreck-It-Ralph, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) and Alex Belcher (IO). The soundtrack will be released this Friday, November 15 and will be available to stream/download here. 21 Bridges is directed by Brian Kirk, produced by Joe & Anthony Russo and stars Chadwick Boseman, Sienna Miller, Stephan James, Keith David, Taylor Kitsch and J.K. Simmons. The movie follows an embattled NYPD detective who is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy.

Henry Jackman is returning as the composer of the upcoming adventure sequel Jumanji: The Next Level. The film is directed by Jake Kasdan (Bad Teacher, Orange County) and stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Danny Glover and Danny DeVito. Kasdan also wrote the screenplay with Jeff Pinkner (Alias, Fringe) & Scott Rosenberg (Con Air, Venom) and is also producing the project with Johnson, Matt Tolmach (The Amazing Spider-Man, Venom), Dany Garcia (Ballers) & Hiram Garcia (Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Rampage).
Henry Jackman Scoring Nate Parker’s ‘American Skin’
Composer Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Wreck-It-Ralph, X-Men: First Class) is reteaming with Nate Parker on the upcoming drama American Skin. The film is written and directed by Parker who also stars in the film alongside Omari Hardwick, Beau Knapp, Theo Rossi, Shane Paul McGhie and Miluana Jackson. The movie follows marine veteran who takes matters into his own hands after his son is killed by a police officer who is found innocent without standing trial.
