Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film It’s What’s Inside. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Andrew Hewitt (The Double, Submarine, The Stanford Prison Experiment, Villains, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, A Crooked Somebody). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. It’s What’s Inside is written and directed by Greg Jardin and stars Brittany O’Grady, James Morosini, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Gavin Leatherwood, Devon Terrell, Reina Hardesty, David W. Thompson, Nina Bloomgarden and Madison Davenport. The comedic horror thriller follows a group of college friends whose pre-wedding reunion descends into a psychological nightmare when a surprise guest arrives with a mysterious suitcase.

Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, October 2, is the British TV series Joan created by Anna Symon and starring Sophie Turner, Frank Dillane, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr, Kirsty J. Curtis and Laura Aikman. The show’s original music is composed by Harry Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, Welcome to the Punch, Roadkill, The Wedding Guest, The English Game, The Face of an Angel, The Frankenstein Cronicles). Premiering on Thursday, October 3, is the horror thriller Hold Your Breath directed by Will Joines & Karrie Crouse and starring Sarah Paulson, Annaleigh Ashford, Bill Heck, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Amiah Miller. Colin Stetson (Hereditary, The Menu, Uzumaki, Color Out of Space, The First, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) has composed the film’s original music. The movie takes place during a pre-wedding party that descends into an existential nightmare when an estranged friend shows up with a mysterious suitcase.

Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi drama Ad Astra directed by James Gray and starring Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland. The film’s original music is composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir). Andrew Hewitt Scoring Dan Berk’s & Robert Olsen’s ‘Villains’
Andrew Hewitt is composing the original music for the upcoming thriller Villains. The film is directed by Dan Berk & Robert Olsen (The Stakelander, Body) and stars Bill Skarsgard, Maika Monroe, Kyra Sedgwick and Jeffrey Donovan. The movie follows two amateur criminals who, after breaking into a suburban home, stumble upon a dark secret and two sadistic homeowners who will do anything to keep it from getting out. Tim & Trevor White (Ingrid Goes West, LBJ) and Allan Mandelbaum (Welcome Home) are producing the project for Star Thrower Entertainment, alongside Garrick Dion (Prospect, Parallel) for the Realm.

Andrew Hewitt to Score ‘We Have Always Lived in the Castle’
Andrew Hewitt has been tapped to score the upcoming thriller We Have Always Lived in the Castle. The film is directed by Stacie Passon (Concussion) and stars Alexandra Daddario, Taissa Farmiga, Sebastian Stan, Joanne Crawford and Crispin Glover. The movie is based on the horror novel of the same title by Shirley Jackson and follows an isolated family, which has already lost four members to poisoning, that uses rituals and talismans to keep itself away from hostile townspeople. Passon also co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Kroger.
Andrew Hewitt to Score ‘A Crooked Somebody’
Andrew Hewitt has been tapped to score the upcoming comedic thriller A Crooked Somebody. The film is directed by Trevor White (Jamesy Boy) and stars Rich Sommer, Ed Harris, Amanda Crew, Amy Madigan, Clifton Collins Jr. and Joanne Froggatt. The movie follows an attention-seeking psychic who is kidnapped and tries to use the situation to boost his popularity. Andrew Zilch has written the screenplay.
