Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi drama Ad Astra directed by James Gray and starring Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland. The film’s original music is composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir). Deutsche Grammophon has released a digital single featuring a track of the composer’s score (click here for more details). Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The Lego Batman Movie) is credited as additional music composer (click here to listen to a track from Balfe’s score).
Also opening wide is the action movie Rambo: Last Blood directed by Adrian Grunberg and starring Sylvester Stallone, Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adrianna Barraza, Yvette Monreal, Genie Kim, Joaquin Cosio and Oscar Jaenada. Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Crazy Rich Asians) who has previously scored 2008’s Rambo has composed the film’s original music.
