Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Trial by Fire (L’épreuve du feu). The album features the film’s original music composed by Maud Geffray (Split, I Swear, Southern Belle). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. Trial by Fire is written and directed by Aurélien Peyre and stars Félix Lefebvre, Anja Verderosa, and Suzanne Jouannet. The movie revolves around a 19-year old on his yearly summer vacation at his family’s home on an Atlantic island as he becomes the center of attention when he arrives accompanied by his girlfriend and having undergone a physical transformation.

Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action sequel John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum directed by Chad Stahelski and starring Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Anjelica Huston, Jason Mantzoukas and Ian McShane. The film’s original music is composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, 300, Watchmen, The Punisher) & Joel J. Richard (John Wick 1 & 2). Also opening wide is the family drama A Dog’s Journey directed by Gail Mancuso and starring Kathryn Prescott, Betty Gilpin, Dennis Quaid, Henry Lau, Marg Helgenberger and Josh Gad. ‘Trial by Fire’ Soundtrack Details
Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the drama Trial by Fire. The album features the film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Wreck-It-Ralph, X-Men: First Class, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Kong: Skull Island). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 17 and will be available to download here. Trial by Fire is directed by Edward Zwick and stars Jack O’Connell, Laura Dern and Emily Meade. The movie tells the true-life Texas story of the unlikely bond between an imprisoned death row inmate and a mother of two from Houston who, though facing staggering odds, fights mightily for his freedom.
Henry Jackman Scoring Edward Zwick’s ‘Trial by Fire’
Henry Jackman has recently recorded his score for the upcoming drama Trial by Fire. The film is directed by Edward Zwick (Legends of the Fall, Glory, The Last Samurai, Blood Diamond) and stars Jack O’Connell, Laura Dern, Emily Meade, Chris Coy, Jeff Perry, David Wilson Barnes and Carlos Gomez. The movie is based on David Grann’s 2009 article in The New Yorker and tells the true story of Cameron Todd Willingham, a poor, uneducated devotee of heavy metal who is convicted of arson and triple homicide when a fire rips through his home and his children are trapped inside.
