Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action/horror comedy They Will Kill You co-written and directed by Kirill Sokolov and starring Zazie Beetz, Myha’La, Tom Felton, Paterson Joseph, Heather Graham and Patricia Arquette. The film’s original music is composed by Carlos Rafael Rivera (The Queen’s Gambit, Hacks, Lessons in Chemistry, Godless, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Dept. Q, Ezra, Griselda, Chupa, Just Beyond). Also opening wide is the horror comedy Forbidden Fruits co-written and directed by Meredith Alloway and starring Lili Reinhart, Victoria Pedretti, Lola Tung, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Chamberlain and Gabrielle Union. Anna Drubich (Barbarian, Fear Street Part 3: 1666, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Werewolves Within, Sting, Time Cut) has composed the film’s original music. Waxwork Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Jim Williams (Titane, Possessor, Beast, Raw, Resurrection, House of Spoils, A Field in England, Sightseers) has been tapped to score the upcoming supernatural body horror feature Bloody Tennis. The film is written and directed by Nikias Chryssos (A Pure Place, Der Bunker) and stars Sandra Guldberg Kampp, Helena Zengel, Lucie Zhang, Tracy Gotoas, Lily Taieb, Elina Löwensohn and Zlatko Burić. The movie follows a young woman who – after being admitted to an elite tennis academy hidden deep in the south of Europe – must contend not only with the fierce brutality of her teammates, but with the school’s increasingly sinister undercurrents.

‘Alpha’ Soundtrack Album Details

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the French body horror drama Alpha. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jim Williams (Titane, Possessor, Raw, Beast, House of Spoils, Resurrection, A Field in England, Sightseers). The soundtrack is being released digitally overseas today and is expected to be available in the U.S. in the coming months. Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, October 2, is the British TV series Joan created by Anna Symon and starring Sophie Turner, Frank Dillane, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr, Kirsty J. Curtis and Laura Aikman. The show’s original music is composed by Harry Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, Welcome to the Punch, Roadkill, The Wedding Guest, The English Game, The Face of an Angel, The Frankenstein Cronicles). Premiering on Thursday, October 3, is the horror thriller Hold Your Breath directed by Will Joines & Karrie Crouse and starring Sarah Paulson, Annaleigh Ashford, Bill Heck, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Amiah Miller. Colin Stetson (Hereditary, The Menu, Uzumaki, Color Out of Space, The First, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) has composed the film’s original music. Invada Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish Amazon original series Romancero. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jim Williams (Titane, Possessor, Resurrection, Raw, Beast, A Field in England, Sightseers). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. Listen to the first track (Madly Runs the Storm) below. Romancero is created by Fernando Navarro, directed by Manson (aka Tomás Peña) and stars Sasha Cócola, Elena Matic, Ricardo Gómez, Guillermo Toledo, Belén Cuesta and Julieta Cardinali. The supernatural horror drama revolves around two helpless kids who – in the dead of night – are trying to escape the infuriated people who accuse them of murder.

The film’s original score is composed by Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place, Logan, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, The Wolverine, Hellboy). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today (click here for the full album details). Also available now is the original end titles song Last One Standing by Skylar Grey feat. Polo G, Mozzy & Eminem (click here to listen to the track and for more information about the Sony Pictures release).

Also opening wide while also coming out on PVOD today is the animated feature The Addams Family 2 directed by Greg Tiernan & Conrad Vernon and starring Oscar Isaac,  Chloë Grace Moretz, Charlize Theron, Nick Kroll, Snoop Dogg, Wallace Shawn, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Bette Midler and Bill Hader. Mychael Danna & Jeff Danna (Onward, The Good Dinosaur, Storks) have composed the film’s original score.
