Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the crime thriller Tuner. The album features the film’s original score composed by Will Bates (Immaculate, Mayfair Witches. The Magicians, The Better Sister, Unbelievable,Away, I Origins, The Life List, The Path, Bliss, The Looming Tower), as well as the original on-screen music composed by the project’s executive music producer Marius de Vries (Coda, Navalny, Sucker Punch, Strange Magic, Kick-Ass, Easy Virtue). The soundtrack will be released digitally on Friday, June 12 (pushed back a week from its originally listed release date) and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Tuner marks the narrative feature directorial debut of documentary filmmaker Daniel Roher and stars Leo Woodall, Havana Rose Liu, Dustin Hoffman, Jean Reno, Lior Raz and Tovah Feldshuh. The movie tells the story of a talented piano tuner whose life is turned upside down when he discovers that his meticulous skills for tuning pianos can equally be applied to cracking safes.

Marius de Vries to Compose Music for Rania Attieh’s & Daniel Garcia’s ‘Queen of the Falls’
Marius de Vries (Coda, Strange Magic, Kick-Ass, Sucker Punch, Navalny) is composing the music for the upcoming indie drama Queen of the Falls. The film is written and directed by Rania Attieh & Daniel Garcia (H., Initials S.G.) and is set to star Pamela Anderson and Guy Pearce. The movie is being described as a “music-infused tale about two lovers on the run’. Mollye Asher (Nomadland, The Rider) and Shruti Ganguly are producing the project.

Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the movie musical The End. The album features the film’s original songs written by Joshua Schmidt, with lyrics by director Joshua Oppenheimer and performed by cast members including Tilda Swinton, George MacKay, Moses Ingram, Bronagh Gallagher, Lennie James, Tim McInnerny & Michael Shannon, as well as the original score composed by Schmidt and Marius de Vries (Coda, Kick-Ass, Strange Magic, Navalny) who also serves as an executive producer on the project. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The End co-written and directed by Oppenheimer is set 25 years after environmental collapse left the Earth uninhabitable and follows a family who are confined to their palatial bunker, where they struggle to maintain hope and a sense of normalcy by clinging to the rituals of daily life – until the arrival of a stranger upends their happy routine.

A24 Music has released the second song from the soundtrack for Dicks: The Musical. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Gay Old Life produced by Marius de Vries, written by Karl Saint Lucy, with lyrics by Aaron Jackson & Josh Sharp and performed by cast member Nathan Lane feat.
