Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, Enemy, The OutsiderThe White Tiger, The Devil All the Time, The StaircaseTokyo Vice) have provided the original score for the upcoming comedy Y2K. The film marks the directorial debut of Kyle Mooney (Saturday Night Live, Brigsby Bear) and stars Rachel Zegler, Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, Daniel Zolghadri, Lachlan Watson, Mason Gooding and The Kid Laroi. The movie takes place on the last night of 1999 and follows two high school juniors as they crash a New Years Eve party, only to find themselves fighting for their lives. The composers’ other recent feature projects include Brian Crano’s & David Craig’s I Don’t Understand You, which just premiered yesterday at SXSW.
