Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is Lucasfilm’s Star Wars movie The Mandalorian and Grogu co-written and directed by Jon Favreau and starring Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, Brendan Wayne, Lateef Crowder and Martin Scorsese The film’s original music is composed by Ludwig Göransson (Sinners, Oppenheimer, Black Panther, Creed, Turning Red, Venom, Tenet, Community). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score digitally last Friday and will release physical versions in the coming weeks. Also opening nationwide is the supernatural horror thriller Passenger directed by André Øvredal and starring Jacob Scipio, Lou Llobell and Melissa Leo. Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Sinister, The Shipping News, Ghost Rider, The Hurricane, Drag Me to Hell, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Gift) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records & Paramount Music have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today and Intrada Records will release a CD version next month. ‘Passenger’ Soundtrack Album Details

Lakeshore Records & Paramount Music will release a soundtrack album for the supernatural horror movie Passenger. The album features music from and inspired by the film composed by Christopher Young (Hellraiser, Spider-Man 3, Sinister, Drag Me to Hell, The Shipping News, Ghost Rider, The Hurricane, The Exorcism of Emily Rose). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 22 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first (“prelude”) track below. Passenger is directed by André Øvredal and stars Jacob Scipio, Lou Llobell and Melissa Leo. The 18Hz & Coin Operated production follows a young couple who witness a gruesome highway accident and soon realize they did not leave the crash scene alone, as a demonic presence that won’t stop until it claims them both turns their van life adventure into a nightmare.

Christopher Young (Hellraiser, Spider-Man 3,Ghost Rider, Sinister, Drag Me to Hell, The Shipping News, The Hurricane, The Exorcism of Emily Rose) has been tapped to score the upcoming supernatural horror thriller Passenger. The film is directed by André Øvredal (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, The Autopsy of Jane Doe) and stars Jacob Scipio, Lou Llobell and Melissa Leo. The movie revolves around a young couple who witness a horrific accident that leaves the driver dead and are soon being pursued by a demonic stalker who’s impossible to outrun.

Premiering in the U.S. on Thursday, October 17, is the British sci-fi series Midwich Cuckoos: Village of the Damned developed by David Farr based on John Wyndham’s classic novel of the same title and starring Keeley Hawes, Max Beesley, Synnøve Karlsen, Samuel West, Cherrelle Skeete, Lara Rossi, Aisling Loftus, Ukweli Roach, Rebekah Staton, Lewis Reeves and Anneika Rose. The show’s original music is composed by Hannah Peel (Rogue Agent, Scoop, Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, Insomnia, The Deceived). Invada Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score when the sci-fi drama premiered in the UK on Sky in 2022. Singer/songwriter and composer Keaton Henson (Supernova, Anne Boleyn, Something Better to Come) has provided the original score for the new ITV drama Passenger. The show is created by actor Andrew Buchan and stars Wunmi Mosaku, David Threlfall, Rowan Robinson, Jo Hartley, Arian Nik, Barry Sloane, Natalie Gavin, Jack James Ryan and Nico Mirralegro. The 6-part series set in the fictional small Northern town of Chadder Vale and follows a former Met Police Detective as she investigates a series of strange and inexplicable crimes that have the townsfolk spinning on an axis.
