The full details of the soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Ludwig Göransson (Oppenheimer, Sinners, Black Panther, Tenet, Creed, Turning Red, Venom, Community). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 15 by Walt Disney Records. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. As previously reported, a standard vinyl edition pressed on 12-inch black vinyl featuring 13 score tracks will be coming out on June 5 (visit Amazon to pre-order) and a special limited edition Mandalorian helmet-shaped 10” die-cut vinyl, which includes two new score cues, will be released on May 22 (click here to order). A CD version is also in the works. The Mandalorian and Grogu is co-written and directed by Jon Favreau and stars Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White. The movie takes place after the evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy, as the fledgling New Republic enlists the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu. The film will be released in theaters nationwide next Friday, May 22 by Walt Disney Pictures.
