Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the French horror thriller Titane. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jim Williams (Raw, Possessor, Beast, Sightseers, Kill List, A Field in England). Also included is Lisa Abbott’s rendition of the folk song Wayfaring Stranger. The soundtrack is now available in French digital music stores and will be released in the U.S. on October 1, 2021. Visit Amazon to pre-order the digital version. A vinyl edition is also in the works. Titane is written and directed by Julia Ducournau and stars Agathe Rousselle, Vincent Lindon, Laïs Salameh and Garance Marillier. Jim Williams Scoring Julia Ducournau’s ‘Titane’
Altitude Films has announced that composer Jim Williams (Possessor, Sightseers, Beast, Kill List, A Field in England) is reteaming with director Julia Ducournau on the upcoming French horror thriller Titane. The film is written and directed by Ducournau and stars Agathe Rousselle, Vincent Lindon, Laïs Salameh and Garance Marillier. The movie revolves around a father who is reunited with his son who disappeared ten years ago following a series of unexplained crimes. Jean-Christophe Reymond (Arab Blues, Neither Heaven nor Earth) is producing the project for Kazak Productions.

Opening in select theaters before premiering on Apple TV+ on October 23 is the comedy On the Rocks written and directed by Sofia Coppola and starring Bill Murray, Rashida Jones and Marlon Wayans. The French indie pop band Phoenix (Lost in Translation, Somewhere) has composed the film’s original music. Glassnote Entertainment has released a first song by the band as a digital single this summer. Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the French psychological horror thriller Raw. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jim Williams (Sightseers, Kill List, A Field in England). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 10, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Death Waltz Recording Company will release a vinyl version in mid-April. The movie follows a vegetarian veterinary school student who is pressured at school to try meat for the first time. Once she does, she plumbs both the depths of her own soul and tests the limits of her darkest cravings.

Rook Films will release a soundtrack album for Ben Wheatley’s horror thriller A Field in England. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jim Williams who previously collaborated with the director on such films as Kill List, Sightseers and Down Terrace. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 24, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. A Field in England is directed by Ben Wheatley and stars Reece Shearsmith, Michael Smiley and Julian Barrett. The movie is set in the 17th Century and follows a group of English Civil War soldiers who are captured by an alchemist and led into a vast mushroom field, where they fall victim to violent and nightmarish forces. The film was released last month in select theaters by Drafthouse Films and is now also available on VOD.
