440Hz has released a soundtrack album for the French TV series After Us (Phoenix). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Anne-Sophie Versnaeyen (La Belle Epoque, OSS 117: Red Alert in Black Africa, Mascarade, Bernadette, My Cousin, I Still Hide to Smoke) & Hugo Gonzalez-Pioli (The Fantastic Three, Demi soeurs, Arrête ton cinéma!). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composers’ title track after the jump. After Us is created by Louis Aubert & Matthieu Bernard and stars Léo Legrand, Natacha Lindinger, François Berléand, Marie Colomb, Benno Fürmann, Will Attenborough, Catalina del Rosario, Alva Schäfer, Gaël Langouët, Pauline Pollmann, Matéo Paitel and Jules Porier. The 6-part thriller follows a group of angry young activists who kidnap the children of corporate leaders in order to force their companies to truly commit to environmental protection.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend while also premiering on Peacock today is the horror movie Five Nights at Freddy’s directed by Emma Tammi and starring Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Matthew Lillard, Mary Stuart Masterson, Kat Conner Sterling and Piper Rubio. The film’s original music is composed by The Newton Brothers (The Haunting of Hill House, The Fall of the House of Usher, Doctor Sleep, The Forever Purge, Midnight Mass). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score today. Also opening wide is the action comedy Freelance directed by Pierre Morel and starring John Cena, Alison Brie, Marton Csokas, Juan Pablo Raba, Alice Eve and Christian Slater. Elliot Leung (The Rescue, Operation Red Sea, Warriors of Future) has composed the film’s original score and Geoff Zanelli (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Disturbia) has contributed the themes. Phoenix Scoring Sofia Coppola’s ‘Priscilla’
The French indie pop band Phoenix is reuniting with director Sofia Coppola on the upcoming biographical drama Priscilla. The film is written and directed by Coppola and stars Cailee Spaeny (in the title role), Jacob Elordi (as Elvis Presley) and Dagmara Domińczyk. Randall Poster serves as the music supervisor on the movie, which is based on the memoir Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley (with Sandra Harmon) about of her life and relationship with Elvis. Coppola is also producing The Apartment and American Zoetrope production with Youree Henley (The Lighthouse, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood) and Lorenzo Mieli (Bones and All, The Hand of God).

Phoenix Scoring Sofia Coppola’s ‘On the Rocks’
Phoenix is reteaming with director Sofia Coppola on the upcoming comedy On the Rocks. The French indie pop band has contributed songs and the original score to the film written and directed by Coppola and starring Bill Murray, Rashida Jones and Marlon Wayans. They also serve as music supervisors on the movie, which follows a young New York mother and writer who – faced with sudden doubts about her marriage – teams up with her larger-than-life playboy father to tail her husband. The band’s original song Identical is featured in the trailer (embedded below) and is also being released as a digital single today (visit Amazon to stream/download the track).

Sofia Coppola’s ‘The Beguiled’ to Feature Original Music by Phoenix
The French rock band Phoenix has composed the original music for Sofia Coppola’s upcoming thriller The Beguiled. The film is written and directed by Coppola (Lost in Translation, The Virgin Suicides, The Bling Ring, Marie Antoinette) and stars Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, Elle Fanning, Oona Laurence, Angourie Rice, Emma Howard and Addison Riecke. The movie based on the novel by Thomas Cullinan is set during the Civil War at a Southern girls’ boarding school that has been sheltered from the outside world – until the day a wounded Union soldier is discovered nearby and taken in.
