The album features the film’s original music composed by Kenneth Lampl (2067, Frontera, Saint & Sinners, Dark, The One). The movie follows a successful social media influencer living the dream who runs into her childhood BFF and invites her for bachelorette weekend at a remote cabin in the mountains, where an old rival proceeds to make her weekend a living hell.

Behind the Scenes of Kenneth Lampl’s & Kirsten Axelholm’s Score for ‘2067’
RLJE Films & Milan Records have published a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the music for the sci-fi thriller 2067 starring Kodi Smit-McPhee and Ryan Kwanten. Kenneth Lampl (Frontera, Dark, The One) and Kirsten Axelholm (The Furies) have teamed up to compose the score for the film. Check out the video featurette, which includes interviews with Lampl and writer/director Seth Larney, footage from the recording sessions and a performance of the score’s main theme by Lampl, after the jump. Milan Records has released the official soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score earlier this month.

Opening in limited release this weekend is the sci-fi thriller Possessor written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg and starring Andrea Riseborough, Christopher Abbott, Rossif Sutherland, Tuppence Middleton, Sean Bean and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The film’s original music is composed by Jim Williams (Raw, Beast, Kill List, Sightseers, A Field in England). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening in select theaters before premiering on Apple TV+ on October 23 is the comedy On the Rocks written and directed by Sofia Coppola and starring Bill Murray, Rashida Jones and Marlon Wayans. The French indie pop band Phoenix (Lost in Translation, Somewhere) has composed the film’s original music. Glassnote Entertainment has released a first song by the band as a digital single this summer. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Australian sci-fi thriller 2067. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 2 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out the composers’ main title theme after the jump. 2067 is written and directed by Seth Larney and stars Kodi Smit-McPhee and Ryan Kwanten. The movie is set in a future where Earth has been ravaged by climate change and humanity is forced to live on artificial oxygen and follows an underground tunnel worker who must fight to save the human race.

The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is the music-themed drama The Identical directed by Dustin Marcellino and starring Erin Cottrell, Amanda Crew, Brian Geraghty, Seth Green, Ashley Judd, Joe Pantoliano, Blake Rayne, and Ray Liotta. Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean, Constantine, Rescue Dawn) and Christopher Carmichael have composed the film’s original score. City of Peace Media and Capitol Christian Distribution have released a soundtrack album featuring five tracks from the composers’ score, as well as the songs from the film performed by lead actor Blake Rayne, The Morph Kings and Darcey & Mo. Opening in limited release is the indie comedy drama Kelly & Cal directed by Jen McGowan and starring Juliette Lewis, Cybill Shepherd and Jonny Weston. The film’s original music is composed by Toby Chu (Covert Affairs, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return). No soundtrack album has been announced. The movie centers on the relationship between a suburban-trapped mother and a wheelchair-bound young man who brings out her former self. The dramedy premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and was picked up by IFC Films for domestic distribution.
