Grand Gesture will release a soundtrack album for the British horror thriller Little Bone Lodge (aka The Last Exit). The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Carmichael (Seven Days in Utopia, The Identical, The Howling: Reborn, Shanghai Calling). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 26 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Little Bone Lodge is directed by Matthias Hoene and stars Joely Richardson, Neil Linpow (who also wrote the screenplay), Sadie Soverall, Harry Cadby and Cameron Jack. The movie follows two criminal brothers on the run who seek refuge in a desolate farmhouse in the Scottish Highlands during a stormy night, but after taking the resident family captive, they find the house holds even darker secrets of its own.

The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is the music-themed drama The Identical directed by Dustin Marcellino and starring Erin Cottrell, Amanda Crew, Brian Geraghty, Seth Green, Ashley Judd, Joe Pantoliano, Blake Rayne, and Ray Liotta. Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean, Constantine, Rescue Dawn) and Christopher Carmichael have composed the film’s original score. City of Peace Media and Capitol Christian Distribution have released a soundtrack album featuring five tracks from the composers’ score, as well as the songs from the film performed by lead actor Blake Rayne, The Morph Kings and Darcey & Mo. Opening in limited release is the indie comedy drama Kelly & Cal directed by Jen McGowan and starring Juliette Lewis, Cybill Shepherd and Jonny Weston. The film’s original music is composed by Toby Chu (Covert Affairs, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return). No soundtrack album has been announced. The movie centers on the relationship between a suburban-trapped mother and a wheelchair-bound young man who brings out her former self. The dramedy premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and was picked up by IFC Films for domestic distribution. ‘The Identical’ Soundtrack Announced
City of Peace Media and Capitol Christian Distribution will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Identical. The album features songs from the film performed by lead actor Blake Rayne, as well as songs by The Morph Kings and Darcey & Mo. Also included are selections of the movie’s original score composed by Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Time Machine, Rescue Dawn) and Christopher Carmichael. The soundtrack will be released on September 2, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Four new movies are opening nationwide this holiday weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the action thriller sequel A Good Day to Die Hard directed by John Moore 
and starring Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney. The film’s music is composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream) who previously scored the last film in the series, Live Free or Die Hard. Also opening wide is the romantic drama/thriller Safe Haven directed by Lasse Hallstrom and starring Josh Duhamel, Julianne Hough, David Lyons, Cobie Smulders and Noah Lomax. The film’s original score is composed by Deborah Lurie who previously worked with Hallstrom on the Nicholas Sparks adaptation Dear John and An Unfinished Life. ‘Astérix and Obélix: God Save Britannia’ Soundtrack Announced
The details of the soundtrack album for the family adventure movie Astérix and Obélix: God Save Britannia (Astérix et Obélix: Au service de Sa Majesté) have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean, Constantine) performed by the London Metropolitan Orchestra, as well as additional music by Cyrille Aufort (Splice) and Christopher Carmichael (Seven Days in Utopia). Also included are two songs by BB Brunes and Travis Hawley’s I Wanna Go Now. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 15, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Opening in almost 3000 theaters is the horror thriller Shark Night 3D directed by David R. Ellis and starring Sara Paxton, Dustin Milligan, Katharine McPhee, Donal Logue, Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz and Joel David Moore. The movie’s score is written by Graeme Revell. A soundtrack album featuring Revell’s music has been released earlier this week by Cutting Edge. Already in theater since Wednesday is the political thriller The Debt directed by John Madden and starring Helen Mirren, Sam Worthington and Tom Wilkinson. The composer of the film is Thomas Newman. Relativity Music Group has released a soundtrack album including Newman’s score digitally earlier this week. The full details and audio clips can be checked out in our previous article. Silva Screen Records will also be releasing a physical CD of the soundtrack overseas.
‘Seven Days in Utopia’ Soundtrack released
Klaus Badelt has released a soundtrack album for the drama Seven Days in Utopia on his own label. The album includes the movie’s original score, which the composer co-scored with Christopher Carmichael. Also featured on the release is the song Eyes On You by Jacqueline Becker. The soundtrack is available to download on Badelt’s official website for the price of your choice. The full album can also be previewed on the page. Seven Days in Utopia directed by Matt Russell and starring Robert Duvall, Melissa Leo and Lucas Black tells the story of a talented young golfer who finds himself unexpectedly stranded in Utopia, Texas.
