The French indie pop band Phoenix is reuniting with director Sofia Coppola on the upcoming biographical drama Priscilla. The film is written and directed by Coppola and stars Cailee Spaeny (in the title role), Jacob Elordi (as Elvis Presley) and Dagmara Domińczyk. Randall Poster serves as the music supervisor on the movie, which is based on the memoir Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley (with Sandra Harmon) about of her life and relationship with Elvis. Coppola is also producing The Apartment and American Zoetrope production with Youree Henley (The Lighthouse, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood) and Lorenzo Mieli (Bones and All, The Hand of God). Phoenix have previously collaborated with Coppola on the features Lost in TranslationSomewhereThe Beguiled and On the RocksPriscilla is expected to be released in theaters this fall by A24.
