Atelier M has released a soundtrack album for the French comedy drama Hands of Gold (Des mains en or). The album features the film’s original music composed by Laurent Marimbert (The Merry Widow, Backstage, Alex Hugo). Also included are two songs performed by Elise Tatiana Aumont. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Hands of Gold is co-written and directed by Isabelle Mergault and stars Lambert Wilson, Sylvie Testud and Josiane Balasko. The movie centers on the friendship between a writer suffering from backache that poisons his existence and a surgeon with healing hands. The dramedy opened in French theaters earlier this month. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
