Premiering tonight is the Showtime original documentary The Longest War directed by Greg Barker and executive produced by Alex Gansa & Howard Gordon about America’s involvement in Afghanistan, now the longest war in U.S. history. The film’s original music is composed by Fernando Velazquez (The Impossible, The Orphanage, Crimson Peak, A Monster Calls, Hercules, Devil). Premiering tomorrow, April 20, is the Netflix animated series The Midnight Gospel created by Pendleton Ward & Duncan Trussell and starring Trussell himself, Phil Hendrie, Drew Pinsky, Joey Diaz, Natasha Leggero, Johnny Pemberton, Christina Pazsitzky and Stephen Root. Joe Wong (Master of None, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, Russian Doll) is composing the show’s original music.
