Premiering on Wednesday, April 22, is the Netflix animated film The Willoughbys directed by Kris Pearn & Cory Evans and starring Will Forte, Alessia Cara, Ricky Gervais, Terry Crews, Maya Rudolph, Jane Krakowski and Martin Short. Premiering on Thursday, April 23, is the HBO unscripted series We’re Here created by Steve Warren and Johnnie Ingram. The show’s original music is composed by Herdís Stefánsdóttir (The Sun Is Also a Star, South Mountain). Premiering on Saturday, April 25, is the comedy drama Bad Education directed by Cory Finley and starring Hugh Jackman, Allison Janney, Rafael Casal, Ray Romano, Geraldine Viswanathan and Alex Wolff. Michael Abels (Get OutUsSee You Yesterday) has composed the original music for the film about an infamous school-larceny scandal that rocked Long Island in the early aughts. Missing from last week’s TV music roundup was the HBO original series Run created by Vicky Jones and starring Merritt Wever, Domhnall Gleeson, Rich Sommer and Archie Panjabi. The show’s original music is composed by Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Leave No Trace, Out of the Furnace, Locke, Last Chance Harvey). The comedic thriller follows a woman who walks away from her ordinary life in the suburbs to revisit her past with her college boyfriend.
