Lionsgate Records will release a soundtrack album for the Hulu original film Run. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Torin Borrowdale (Searching, Locke & Key, Spring). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 20 and will be available to stream/download here. Run is directed by Aneesh Chaganty and stars Sarah Paulson and Kiera Allen. The movie co-written by Chaganty & Sev Ohanian follows a teenage girl whose mother who has raised her in total isolation, controlling every move she’s made since birth, and whose life begins to unravel as she discovers her mother’s sinister secret.

Premiering tonight is the Showtime docu-series The Reagans directed and executive produced by Matt Tyrnauer about the rise and reign of America’s ultimate power couple, Ronald & Nancy Reagan. The show’s original music is composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, His Dark Materials, The Crown, Home, Bad Boys for Life) who previously scored Tyrnauer’s features Studio 54 and Where’s My Roy Cohn?. Premiering on Wednesday, November 18, is the documentary Crazy, Not Insane directed and produced by Alex Gibney about Dr. Dorothy Otnow Lewis, a psychiatrist who has dedicated her career to studying murderers and seeking answers as to why people kill. Will Bates (Unbelievable, Away, I Origins, The Magicians, The Looming Tower, Nightflyers) who has previously scored numerous of Gibney’s documentaries has composed the film’s original music. The movie, which premiered at this year’s Copenhagen International Documentary Festival and also screened at the 2020 Venice Film Festival will debut in the U.S. exclusively on HBO and HBO Max.

Premiering tonight is the Showtime original documentary The Longest War directed by Greg Barker and executive produced by Alex Gansa & Howard Gordon about America’s involvement in Afghanistan, now the longest war in U.S. history. The film’s original music is composed by Fernando Velazquez (The Impossible, The Orphanage, Crimson Peak, A Monster Calls, Hercules, Devil). Premiering tomorrow, April 20, is the Netflix animated series The Midnight Gospel created by Pendleton Ward & Duncan Trussell and starring Trussell himself, Phil Hendrie, Drew Pinsky, Joey Diaz, Natasha Leggero, Johnny Pemberton, Christina Pazsitzky and Stephen Root. Joe Wong (Master of None, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, Russian Doll) is composing the show’s original music. Torin Borrowdale to Reteam with Aneesh Chaganty on ‘Run’
Torin Borrowdale is reteaming with director Aneesh Chaganty on the upcoming thriller Run. The film starring Sarah Paulson and Kiera Allen centers on the mother of a teenage girl who has been raised in total isolation and whose life begins to unravel as she discovers her mother’s sinister secret. Chaganty also co-wrote the screenplay with Sev Ohanian (The Intervention, Take Me) who is producing the project with Natalie Qasabian (All About Nina, Duck Butter). Borrowdale has previously scored Chaganty’s first feature Searching, which opened in theaters last summer.
