Premiering tonight is the HBO limited series The Undoing created by David E. Kelley, directed by Susanne Bier and starring Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant, Edgar Ramirez, Noah Jupe, Noma Dumezweni, Lily Rabe, Matilda De Angelis, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Donald Sutherland. The show’s original music is composed by Evgueni Galperine & Sacha Galperine (The Family, Radioactive, Loveless, The Wizard of Lies, Nine Lives). Erran Baron Cohen has composed the original score for the new comedy Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.The film is directed by Jason Woliner (Eaglehearts) and stars Sacha Baron Cohen who is reprising his role of the fictional Kazakh television journalist named title character from the 2006 hit movie Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Monica Levinson (Captain Fantastic, Trumbo) and Anthony Hines (Who Is America?) are producing the project. Nami Melumad (An American Pickle, Absentia, Star Trek: Prodigy) has provided additional music and Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Star Trek) serves as score consultant.

The show is created by Nick Frost & Simon Pegg, Nat Saunders & James Serafinowicz (Sick Note) and stars Frost & Pegg themselves, alongside Samson Kayo, Emma D’Arcy, Malcolm McDowell and Susan Wokoma. The supernatural comedy drama series centers on a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK and share their adventures on an online channel for all to see.

Premiering tomorrow, October 12, is the second episode of the AMC anthology series Soulmates created by Will Bridges & Brett Goldstein. Episode 2, entitled The Lovers, is directed by Rob Savage and stars David Costabile, Sonya Cassidy, Karima McAdams and Henry Goodman. Michael Price (Sherlock, Dracula, Wild Target, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, Unforgotten, Another Me) has composed the episode’s original music. British EDM artist Gazelle Twin (aka Elizabeth Bernholz) has made her U.S. feature scoring debut on the new supernatural horror thriller Nocturne. The film written and directed by Zu Quirke is part of Amazon’s Welcome to the Blumhouse series and stars Sydney Sweeney, Madison Iseman, Jacques Colimon and Ivan Shaw. The movie is set at an elite arts academy and revolves around a timid music student who begins to outshine her more accomplished and outgoing twin sister when she discovers a mysterious notebook belonging to a recently deceased classmate.

Soundtrack Album for Sky Atlantic’s ‘Tin Star: Liverpool’ Announced

Constructive (a new sister label of SN Variations) has announced a soundtrack album for the third season of the Sky Atlantic original series Tin Star. The album features selections of the original music from the final season over the show composed by Adrian Corker (The Village, Waiting for You). The Tin Star: Liverpool soundtrack is set to be released digitally and on vinyl on November 20, 2020. Click here to pre-order the album. Silva Screen Records has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from the first seasons. Tin Star is created by Rowan Joffe and stars Tim Roth, Genevieve O’Reilly, Abigail Lawrie, Ian Hart, Tanya Moodie, Joanne Whalley and Kerrie Hayes.

‘The Boys’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Details

Madison Gate Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Boys. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Christopher Lennertz (Sausage Party, Lost in Space, Horrible Bosses, Agent Carter, Ride Along). Also included are the original songs Never Truly Vanish performed by Erin Moriarty and Faster performed by Jessie T. Usher feat. Aimée Proal. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 9 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released the composer’s score from the first season last year. La-La Land Records will release CD versions of both albums later this month (click here to order). The Boys is The Boys is developed by Eric Kripke based on Darick Robertson’s & Garth Ennis’ comic book series of the same title and stars Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Aya Kash and Colby Minifie.

Gimple & Matt Negrete and starring Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Annet Mahendru, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Nico Tortorella and Julia Ormond. The show’s original music is composed by The Newton Brothers (Doctor Sleep, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Detachment, Life of Crime, Oculus). Also premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British TV series Cobra created by Ben Richards and stars Robert Carlyle, Victoria Hamilton, Richard Dormer, David Haig, Marsha Thomason and Lucy Cohu. Rob Lane (Merlin, A Discovery of Witches, John Adams, The Damned United, Atlantis) is composing the show’s original music. Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from the drama’s first season. Aska Matsumiya (Skate Kitchen, Selah and the Spades, 37 Seconds) has recently scored the upcoming drama I’m Your Woman. The film is directed by Julia Hart (Stargirl, Miss Julie, Fast Color) and stars Rachel Brosnahan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Arinzé Kene, Bill Heck, Frankie Faison, Marceline Hugot and James McMenamin. The movie is set in the 1970s and follows a woman whose escape from a toxic marriage leads her to form an unlikely partnership with another couple. Hart also co-wrote the screenplay with Jordan Horowitz (La La Land, The Kids Are Alright) who is also producing the Big Indie Pictures and Original Headquarters production with Brosnahan.
