Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the crime drama I’m Your Woman. The album features the film’s original music composed by Aska Matsumiya (Skate Kitchen, Selah & the Spades, Betty, 37 Seconds). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 11 and will be available to stream/download here. I’m Your Woman is written and directed by Julia Hart and stars Rachel Brosnahan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Arinzé Kene, Frankie Faison and Bill Heck. The movie is set in the 1970s and revolves around a woman who is forced to go on the run after her husband betrays his partners, sending her and her baby on a dangerous journey.

Weekly Film Music Roundup (December 4, 2020)
Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the romantic drama All My Life directed by Marc Meyers and stars Jessica Rothe, Harry Shum Jr, Kyle Allen, Jay Pharoah, Chrissie Fit, Marielle Scott and Keala Settle. The film’s original music is composed by Lisbeth Scott (Tumble Leaf, American Son, Justine). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two cover songs performed by Settle. Aska Matsumiya Scoring Julia Hart’s ‘I’m Your Woman’
Aska Matsumiya (Skate Kitchen, Selah and the Spades, 37 Seconds) has recently scored the upcoming drama I’m Your Woman. The film is directed by Julia Hart (Stargirl, Miss Julie, Fast Color) and stars Rachel Brosnahan, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Arinzé Kene, Bill Heck, Frankie Faison, Marceline Hugot and James McMenamin. The movie is set in the 1970s and follows a woman whose escape from a toxic marriage leads her to form an unlikely partnership with another couple. Hart also co-wrote the screenplay with Jordan Horowitz (La La Land, The Kids Are Alright) who is also producing the Big Indie Pictures and Original Headquarters production with Brosnahan.
