ABKCO Records will release the official soundtrack album for the drama One Night in Miami… The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Malcolm X, Perry Mason, Inside Man, 25th Hour, Da 5 Bloods). Also included is the original song Speak Now performed by Leslie Odom, Jr. and co-written by himself & Sam Ashworth, as well as other songs performed by the actor/singer and tracks by L.C. Cooke, Jeremy Pope, Billy Preston & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically (on CD and vinyl) on January 15, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. One Night in Miami… marks the feature directorial debut of Regina King and stars Kingsley Ben-Adir, Eli Goree, Aldis Hodge and Leslie Odom Jr. The movie is a fictional account of one incredible night where Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, Sam Cooke & Jim Brown gathered discussing their roles in the civil rights movement and cultural upheaval of the 60s. The drama premiered at this year’s Venice and Toronto Film Festivals and will be released in select theaters on December 25 by Amazon Studios before premiering on January 15 on Amazon Prime.
