Premiering today is the Starz limited series Gaslit created by Robbie Pickering based on the first season of the Slow Burn podcast and starring Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Dan Stevens, Shea Whigham, Betty Gilpin and Darby Camp. The show’s original music is composed by Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, Feud: Bette and Joan, American Horror Story, American Crime Story, The Politician, Ratched). Also premiering today is the Showtime original series The Man Who Fell to Earth developed by Alex Kurtzman & Jenny Lumet based on the Walter Tevis novel and the 1976 film of the same name and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomie Harris, Jimmy Simpson, Rob Delaney, Sonya Cassidy, Joana Ribeiro, Clarke Peters, Annelle Olaleye, Kate Mulgrew and Bill Nighy. Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Legion, The Night Of, Lucy in the Sky, The Umbrella Academy) is composing the show’s original music. Rael Jones Scoring ‘Call My Agent!’ UK Remake

Rael Jones (Harlots, Suite Francaise, My Cousin Rachel, The Salisbury Poisonings, Kids in Love) is scoring the upcoming British adaptation of the French hit series Call My Agent. John Morton (Twenty Twelve) has written and directed the first two episodes of the show, which stars Jack Davenport, Chelsey Crisp, Lydia Leonard, Jim Broadbent, Maggie Steed, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Hiftu Quasem, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Harry Trevaldwyn, Rebecca Humphries, Tim McInnerny, Natasha Little, Edward Bluemel and Eleonore Arnaud. The comedy, which is set at a London talent agency where agents scramble to keep their business afloat after the sudden death of their founder, will also feature guest appearances by Kelly Macdonald, Helena Bonham Carter, Olivia Williams, Dominic West, Phoebe Dynevor, Jessica Oyelowo, David Oyelowo, among others.

Premiering tonight is the third season of the Starz anthology series The Girlfriend Experience written and directed by Anja Marquardt (based on Steven Soderbergh’s feature of the same title) and starring Julia Goldani Telles. Matthew Pusti (A Good Woman Is Hard to Find, Whistleblower) has composed the original music for Season 3 and follows Shane Carruth and the Mondo Boys who scored the first two seasons. The third season, which is set amidst the London tech scene and follows a neuroscience major who begins to explore the transactional world of The Girlfriend Experience, only to find herself deep inside the uncanny valley with the relationships she creates, will air Sunday nights on Starz.

Premiering on Tuesday, May 4, is Lucasfilm’s Disney+ original series Star Wars: The Bad Batch created by Dave Filoni and starring Dee Bradley Baker, Ming-Na Wen, Stephen Stanton and Andrew Kishino. The show’s original music is composed by Kevin Kiner (Narcos: Mexico, Doom Patrol, CSI: Miami, Titans, City on a Hill, Making a Murderer) who previously scored all episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (and the feature of the same title) and Star Wars Rebels. Soundtrack Album for ITV’s & Sundance Now’s ‘Des’ Announced

Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the ITV mini-series Des. The album features the show’s original music composed by Sarah Warne (Prey, Humans, Dark Money, Time, She’s French, The Drowning). The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 7, 2021 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other major digital music outlets. Des is written by Luke Neal & Kelly Jones based on the novel Killing For Company by Brian Masters and stars David Tennant, Daniel Mays, Jason Watkins, Alex Bhat, Jay Simpson, Gerard Horan and Ron Cook. The 3-parter directed by Lewis Arnold is based on real life events, the 1983 arrest of Scottish serial killer Dennis Nilsen and one of the most infamous criminal cases in UK history, and focuses on Nilsen’s capture and subsequent trial.

The show’s original music is composed by Guy Garvey & Peter Jobson (Trying, Dead in a Week or Money Back) & Paul Saunderson (Three Identical Strangers, Starfish). The series, which revolves around a down-on-her-luck office cleaner who is lured into the high-risk world of insider trading, premiered in the UK last year on ITV and is making its U.S. debut on Sundance Now.

Premiering tomorrow, October 12, is the second episode of the AMC anthology series Soulmates created by Will Bridges & Brett Goldstein. Episode 2, entitled The Lovers, is directed by Rob Savage and stars David Costabile, Sonya Cassidy, Karima McAdams and Henry Goodman. Michael Price (Sherlock, Dracula, Wild Target, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, Unforgotten, Another Me) has composed the episode’s original music. The film’s original music is composed by British EDM artist Gazelle Twin (aka Elizabeth Bernholz). ‘The Bureau’ (‘Le Bureau des Légendes’) Season 5 Soundtrack Album Released

Milan Records has released a new soundtrack album for the French TV series The Bureau (Le Bureau des Légendes). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth season composed by Rob (Maniac, Horns, Revenge, Troy: Fall of a City, Gretel & Hansel, Planetarium). The soundtrack is being released digitally overseas today and will be released in the U.S. later this year. Hippocampus and Music Box Records have previously released soundtrack albums featuring the composer’s score from the first four seasons.
