Premiering tomorrow, October 12, is the second episode of the AMC anthology series Soulmates created by Will Bridges & Brett Goldstein. Episode 2, entitled The Lovers, is directed by Rob Savage and stars David Costabile, Sonya Cassidy, Karima McAdams and Henry Goodman. Michael Price (Sherlock, Dracula, Wild TargetA Fantastic Fear of Everything, Unforgotten, Another Me) has composed the episode’s original music. Premiering on Tuesday, October 13, as part of Amazon’s Welcome to the Blumhouse series, is the supernatural horror thriller Nocturne written and directed by Zu Quirke and starring Sydney Sweeney, Madison Iseman, Ivan Shaw and Jacques Colimon. The film’s original music is composed by British EDM artist Gazelle Twin (aka Elizabeth Bernholz). Also premiering on Tuesday is another installment in the Welcome to the Blumhouse series, Evil Eye directed by Elan Dassani &Rajeev Dassani and starring Sunita Mani, Omar Maskati and Sarita Choudhury. Ronit Kirchman (The Sinner, Limetown) has composed the film’s original music. The horror drama, which follows a superstitious mother who is convinced that her daughter’s new boyfriend is the reincarnation of a man who tried to kill her 30 years ago, will also be available to stream on Amazon Prime.

Premiering on Thursday, October 15, is the Netflix original film A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting  directed by Rachel Talala and starring Tamara Smart, Oona Laurence, Tom Felton, Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson, Lynn Masako Cheng, Ty Consiglio, Ian Ho, Indya Moore, Alessio Scalzotto and Tamsen McDonough. The film’s original music is composed by Matthew Margeson (Kingsman series, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar ChildrenRocketmanEddie the Eagle). Also premiering on Thursday is the Netflix anthology series Social Distance created by Hilary Weisman Graham and executive produced by Tara Herrmann, Blake McCormick & Jenji Kohan. Jonathan Sanford (Teenage Bounty Hunters, Dare Me, Good on Paper) has composed the show’s original music. The drama, which was conceived, cast and executed entirely remotely during quarantine and showcases the power of the human spirit in the face of uncertainty and isolation, will also be available to stream on Netflix.

Also premiering in the U.S. on Thursday is the British mini-series Des created by by Luke Neal & Kelly Jones based on a novel Killing For Company by Brian Masters, directed by Lewis Arnold and starring David Tennant, Daniel Mays, Jason Watkins, Alex Bhat, Jay Simpson, Gerard Horan and Ron Cook. The show’s original music is composed by Sarah Warne (Prey, Humans, Dark Money, She’s French). The crime drama, which follows Scottish serial killer Dennis Nilsen who was arrested in 1983 due to his connection to the unearthing of human remains, premiered in the UK on ITV last month on and is making its U.S. debut on Sundance Now.

Premiering on Friday, October 16, is the musical drama Clouds directed by Justin Baldoni and starring Fin Argus, Sabrina Carpenter, Neve Campbell, Madison Iseman, Lil Rel Howery, Tom Everett Scott, Dylan Everett, Endicott Douglas and Summer H. Howell. Brian Tyler (Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Crazy Rich Asians, Now You See Me) has composed the film’s original score. Interscope Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie on Friday. Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix original series Grand Army created by Katie Cappiello based on her stage play Slut: The Play and starring Odessa A’zion, Amalia Yoo, Amir Bageria, Jayson Jackson and Odley Jean. The show’s original music is composed by Morgan Kibby (aka White Sea) (Girls of the Sun, The Short History of the Long Road, Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story)).
