Premiering in the U.S. on Thursday, December 31, is the British comedy Cleaning Up created by Mark Marlow and starring Sheridan Smith, Jade Anouka, Robert Emms, Kristy Philipps, Anya McKenna-Bruce, Uriel Emil and Branka Katic. The show’s original music is composed by Guy Garvey & Peter Jobson (TryingDead in a Week or Money Back) & Paul Saunderson (Three Identical StrangersStarfish). The series, which revolves around a down-on-her-luck office cleaner who is lured into the high-risk world of insider trading, premiered in the UK last year on ITV and is making its U.S. debut on Sundance Now.

Missing from last week’s TV music roundup was the Netflix original film We Can Be Heroes written and directed by Robert Rodriguez and starring YaYa Gosselin, Pedro Pascal, Priyanka Chopra, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Akira Akbar, Christian Slater, Boyd Holbrook, Adriana Barraza, Taylor Dooley, Christopher McDonald and Andy Walken. Rebel Rodriguez (Red 11) has composed the movie’s original music. The family adventure, which follows the children of the world’s greatest superheroes who must team up and learn to work together when their parents are kidnapped by alien invaders, premiered on December 25 and is now available to stream on Netflix.
