Premiering tonight is the Starz docu-series Warriors of Liberty City executive produced by LeBron James & Maverick Carter about Liberty City – a crime-ridden neighborhood in Miami that is arguably the NFL’s largest, most successful football factory. The show’s original music is composed by Kris Bowers (Green Book, Dear White People, For the People, Monsters and Men). Premiering on Tuesday, September 18, is the Facebook Watch original series Sorry for Your Loss created by Kit Steinkellner and starring Elizabeth Olsen, Kelly Marie Tran, Janet McTeer, Jovan Adepo and Mamoudou Athie. Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, I’ll See You in My Dreams, The Hero, Queen of Earth) is composing the show’s original music. Mateo Messina to Score NBC’s ‘I Feel Bad’

Mateo Messina has signed to score the upcoming NBC comedy I Feel Bad. The show is created by Aseem Batra (Marlon, Scrubs) and stars Sarayu Blue, Paul Adelstein, Zach Cherry, James Buckley, Aisling Bea and Johnny Pemberton. The series is inspired by Orli Auslander’s book I Feel Bad: All Day. Every Day. About Everything and shows one woman’s unfiltered take on the side effects of trying to have it all. Batra is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Amy Poehler (Difficult People, Broad City), Dave Becky (Master of None, Insecure), Josh Maurer (Howards End) and Julie Anne Robinson (The Last Song, One for the Money) who also directed the pilot episode.

NBC’s ‘Manifest’ to Feature Music by Danny Lux

Danny Lux is scoring the upcoming NBC drama Manifest. The show is created by Jeff Rake (The Mysteries of Laura) and stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Parveen Kaur and Luna Blaise. The series centers on a group of people on a plane who survive a turbulent flight only to discover that the world has progressed five years during the period they were in the air. Rake is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television and Compari Entertainment production with Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump), Jack Rapke (Cast Away, Flight) and David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada, Marley & Me) who also directed the pilot episode.

Premiering tonight is the new FX original series Pose created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk & Steven Canals and starring Dominique Jackson, Mj Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Angelica Ross, Hallie Sahar, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Billy Porter, Dyllon Burnside, Evan Peters, Kate Mara and James Van Der Beek. The show’s original music is composed by Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Crime Story, American Horror Story, Feud). W.G. Snuffy Walden, Patrick Rose & Noah Sorota Scoring NBC’s ‘Reverie’

W.G. Snuffy Walden, Patrick Rose and Noah Sorota have composed the original score for the new NBC drama Reverie. The show is created by Mickey Fisher (Extant) and stars Sarah Shahi, Dennis Haysbert, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Kathryn Morris and Jessica Lu. The series follows a former detective specializing in human behavior who is brought in when the launch of an advanced virtual reality program has dangerous and unintended consequences. Fisher is also executive producing the Universal Television and Amblin Television production with Tom Szentgyorgyi (The Mentalist), Darryl Frank & Justin Falvey (The Americans, The Borgias) and Brooklyn Weaver (Run All Night).

Soundtrack Album for NBC’s ‘Rise’ to Be Released

Atlantic Records will release the first full soundtrack album for the NBC drama Rise. The album features the songs from the show’s first season (from the stage musical Spring Awakening with music written by Duncan Sheik and lyrics by Steven Later) performed by cast members including Auli’i Cravalho, Damon J. Gillespie, Amy Forsyth, Ted Sutherland, Ellie Desautels, Erin Kommor and Sean Grandillo. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically tomorrow, May 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Rise created by Jason Katims and also starring Josh Radnor, Rosie Perez, Marley Shelton follows a dedicated teacher and family man takes over the school’s lackluster theater department.

Premiering in the U.S. today is the BBC movie The Child in Time directed by Julian Farino and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Kelly Macdonald, Stephen Campbell Moore and Saskia Reeves. The film’s original music is composed by Adrian Johnston (Becoming Jane, Brideshead Revisited, The Strangers: Prey at Night, Kinky Boots). Soundtrack Album for NBC’s ‘Timeless’ to Be Released

The full details of the first soundtrack album for the NBC drama Timeless have been announced. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first two seasons composed by Emmy Award nominee Robert Duncan (Castle, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, S.W.A.T., The Unit, Terriers). Also included is Abigail Spencer’s performance of You Made Me Love You (I Didn’t Want To Do It) from the episode Hollywoodland. Sony Masterworks will release a soundtrack album for the NBC television event Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert. The album features the songs from the TV special written by Andrew Llyod Webber and Tim Rice and performed by John Legend, Sara Bareilles, Alice Cooper and other cast members. The soundtrack will be released on April 6, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert based on the 1971 Broadway musical is executive produced by Webber, Rice, Marc Platt, Craig Zadan & Neil Meron (Hairspray, Chicago) and revolves around the last week of Jesus’ life, told from the perspective of infamous betrayer Judas Iscariot.

‘This Is Us’ Season 2 Soundtrack to Be Released

Universal Music will release a new soundtrack album for the NBC hit drama This Is Us. The album features a selection of songs from the show’s second season, including Grey Reverend’s Watch Me cover, Chrissy Metz’s cover of Landslide, the original song Where I Belong performed by Hannah Zeile and written by Elise Davis & the series’ composer Siddhartha Khosla, Hannah Miller’s cover of Beauty and Pain, Taylor Goldsmith’s cover of Jackson Browne’s These Days and Goldspot’s rendition of I Got You Babe. Also included are songs by Elton John, José González, Cat Stevens, Billie Holiday & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 13 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the songs from the first season, as well as an album featuring Khosla’s original score.
