Walt Disney Records has released two more songs from the Disney Channel original movie Kim Possible, including the original track Party with Me written by Jack Kugell, Hanna Jones & Matt Wongand and performed by Sky Katz (visit Amazon to download the song). Also available now is Naked Mole Rap Remix written by Adam Berry (South Park, The Penguins of Madagascar) who scored the animated Kim Possible series, as well as Mark McCorkle & Bob Schooley and performed by Sean Giambrone & Issac Ryan Brown (click here to download). Weekly TV Music Roundup (June 3, 2018)
Premiering tonight is the new FX original series Pose created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk & Steven Canals and starring Dominique Jackson, Mj Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Angelica Ross, Hallie Sahar, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Billy Porter, Dyllon Burnside, Evan Peters, Kate Mara and James Van Der Beek. The show’s original music is composed by Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Crime Story, American Horror Story, Feud). Also premiering tonight is the HBO original series Succession created by Jesse Armstrong and starring Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, Hiam Abbas, Alan Ruck, Rob Yang, Parker Sawvers, and Peter Friedman. Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, Battle of the Sexes, Free State of the Jones) is composing the show’s original music. Adam Berry Scoring Disney XD’s ‘Big Hero 6: The Series’
Adam Berry is composing the music for the upcoming Disney XD series Big Hero 6. The show is based on the 2014 feature (scored by Henry Jackman) and features the voices of Maya Rudolph, Jamie Chung, Stan Lee, Scott Adsit, Alan Tudyk, Ryan Potter, Genesis Rodriguez and David Shaughnessy who will reprise their characters from the movie. They are joined by Khary Payton and Brooks Wheelan. The series continues the adventures and friendship of 14-year-old Hiro and his compassionate, cutting-edge robot Baymax.
Amazon’s ‘Lost in Oz’ to Feature Theme Music by Mark Mothersbaugh and Score by Adam Berry
Mark Mothersbaugh is writing the theme music and Adam Berry is composing the original score for the Amazon Studios pilot Lost in Oz. The animated show is set in a modern, metropolitan Emerald City in which 12-year-old Dorothy Gale befriends West, a young, street-smart witch grappling with dark temptations, and Ojo, a giant munchkin. Bureau of Magic’s Darin Mark, Jared Mark, Abram Makowka and Mark Warshaw (East Los High, Smallville) are developing and producing the project, which is designed by Flaunt Productions and animated by Arc Productions (9, Gnomeo & Juliet).
Adam Berry Scoring NBC’s ‘Susan 313’ and ‘Happy Valley’
Adam Berry has recently scored two NBC comedy pilots. First up is Susan 313 created by Sarah Silverman who stars in the show as a woman readjusting to the single life after a decade-long live-in relationship. The comedy is loosely based on Silverman’s life and co-stars Jeff Goldblum, Tig Notaro, Ken Leung, Harris Wittels and June Raphael. Ken Kwapis (He’s Just Not That Into You) has directed the pilot and is also executive producing the project with Silverman, Dan Sterling, as well as Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo for Imagine Entertainment (24, Parenthood, Friday Night Lights). Silverman has also co-written the script with Sterling and Jon Schroeder. The composer has previously scored the comedian’s Comedy Central series The Sarah Silverman Project.
