Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney XD original animated fantasy series Dragon Striker. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Kevin Penkin (Tower of God, Eden, Nippon Sankgoku, Made in Abyss, Star Wars: Visions: The Lost Ones & The Village Bride, The Rising of the Shield Hero). Also included is the main title song Power of the Dragon written by Cash Callaway and performed by Sarah West (check out the official music video after the jump) and the end credits song The Very End written and performed by Kieran Rhodes. The Vol. 1 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first score track below. Dragon Striker is created by Sylvain Dos Santos & Charles Lefebvre and stars Akshay Kumar, Rebecca LaChance, Waylon Jacobs, Yeukayi Ushe and Evanna Lynch.

‘Star Wars Rebels’ Seasons 3 & 4 Soundtrack Albums to Be Released
Walt Disney Records will release two new soundtrack albums for Lucasfilm’s animated TV series Star Wars Rebels. The albums feature selections of the original music from the show’s third and fourth seasons composed by Kevin Kiner (Ahsoka, Star Wars: The Clone Wars & The Bad Batch, Narcos: Mexico, CSI: Miami, Hell on Wheels, Titans, Doom Patrol, Peacemaker). The label has previously released two albums featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 and Season 2 back in 2016. Star Wars Rebels is created by Simon Kinberg, Dave Filoni & Greg Weisman and features the voices of Taylor Gray, Freddie Prinze, Jr., Tiya Sircar, Steve Blum and Vanessa Marshall.
‘Gravity Falls’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released
Walt Disney Records has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the Disney Channel animated series Gravity Falls. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Brad Breeck (We Bare Bears, Voltron: Legendary Defender, The Owl House, Kiff), as well as numerous songs from both seasons of the Disney Television Animation production. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. iam8bit has previously released a vinyl edition featuring the same content back in. Gravity Fall is created by Alex Hirsch and features the voices of Kristen Schaal, Hirsch himself, Linda Cardellini and J.K. Simmons.
‘Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats’ Soundtrack EP Released
Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack EP for the Disney Junior stop-motion animated special Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats. The 3-track EP features the songs from the Disney Branded Television production written by Beau Black (The Lion Guard, Miles from Tomorrow, Firebuds), with lyrics by David Goldsmith. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to all the songs below. Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats is directed by David H. Brooks and follows Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy & Daisy as they are trick-or-treating and visit a spooky mansion, when the owner casts a spell that turns them into their costume.

The show’s original music is composed by Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Crime Story, American Horror Story, Feud). Adam Berry Scoring Disney XD’s ‘Big Hero 6: The Series’
Adam Berry is composing the music for the upcoming Disney XD series Big Hero 6. The show is based on the 2014 feature (scored by Henry Jackman) and features the voices of Maya Rudolph, Jamie Chung, Stan Lee, Scott Adsit, Alan Tudyk, Ryan Potter, Genesis Rodriguez and David Shaughnessy who will reprise their characters from the movie. They are joined by Khary Payton and Brooks Wheelan. The series continues the adventures and friendship of 14-year-old Hiro and his compassionate, cutting-edge robot Baymax.
‘DuckTales’ Reboot Main Titles Song Released
Walt Disney Records has released the main titles theme song of the reboot of the animated series DuckTales. The song is a cover of the title track from Disney’s classic series written by Mark C. Mueller. The new version is performed by singer/songwriter Felicia Barton and produced by music producer Michael ‘Smidi’ Smith and the show’s composer Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Free Birds, Money Monster). Disney XD has premiered the main titles for the upcoming reboot of the animated series DuckTales. The titles sequence features a new version of the title song from the classic series written by Mark C. Mueller. The track is performed by singer/songwriter Felicia Barton and produced by Emmy-winning Michael ‘Smidi’ Smith and the show’s composer Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Free Birds, Money Monster, Rough Night). The song will be released by Walt Disney Records on Friday, June 23. DuckTales is developed by Marc Youngberg and features the voices of David Tennant, Bobby Moynihan, Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi, Kate Micucci, Toks Olagundoye, Beck Bennett, Tony Anselmo and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Dominic Lewis to Score ‘DuckTales’ Reboot
Dominic Lewis has been tapped to score Disney’s upcoming animated series DuckTales. The show is developed by Marc Youngberg based on the classic 80s cartoon and features the voice talent of David Tennant, Bobby Moynihan, Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi, Kate Micucci, Toks Olagundoye, Beck Bennett, Tony Anselmo and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The series follows the adventures of millionaire Scrooge McDuck and his nephews, as they travel around the world in search of treasure and wealth. Youngberg is also executive producing the project. Ron Jones has scored all episodes of the original TV series, which premiered in 1987.
