Premiering tonight is the new ABC drama Deception created by Chris Fedak and starring Jack Cutmore-Scott, Ilfenesh Hadera, Amaury Nolasco, Lenora Crichlow, Justin Chon, Vinnie Jones and Laila Robins. Premiering on Wednesday, March 7, in the U.S. is the crime drama series Hard Sun created by Neil Cross and starring Agyness Deyn, Jim Sturgess and Nikki Amuka-Bird. The show’s original music is composed by Neil Davidge (Unleashed, Push, Monsters: Dark Continent, Britannia, Good People). The series, which follows detective who seeks to enforce the law and protect their loved ones in a world that every day slips closer to certain destruction, premiered in January in the UK on BBC One and is making its U.S. debut on Wednesday on Hulu.
Also premiering on Wednesday is the new CW comedy drama Life Sentence created by Erin Cardillo & Richard Keith and starring Lucy Hale, Carlos PenaVega, Elliot Knight, Dylan Walsh, Gillian Vigman, Jayson Blair and Brooke Lyons. The composing duo of WAZ-Jackson (Cougar Town, Surviving Jack) is composing the show’s original music. The series follows a young woman who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and has to learn to live with the choices she made when she decided to “live like she was dying”. Premiering tomorrow, February 26, in the U.S. is the BBC & AMC series McMafia created by Hossein Amini & James Watkins and starring James Norton, Aleksey Serebryakov, Maria Shukshina, Faye Marsay and Juliet Rylance. The show’s original music is composed by Tom Hodge & Franz Kirmann. Decca Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score from the drama’s first season. Check out

Composer Michael Penn (Girls, Masters of Sex, Boogie Nights, Sunshine Cleaning) is scoring the new NBC comedy drama Good Girls. The show is created by Jenna Bans and stars Christina Hendricks, Retta, Mae Whitman, Matthew Lillard, Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett and Izzy Stannard. The series follows three suburban moms who get tired of trying to make ends meet and decide it’s time to stick up for themselves by robbing the local grocery store. 
Jesse Novak is scoring the new NBC comedy Champions. The show is created by Charlie Grandy & Mindy Kaling and stars Anders Holm, Fortune Feimster, Andy Favreau, J.J. Totah and Mouzam Makkar. The series follows a washed-up high school baseball star who reluctantly gave up his dreams to take over the family gym in Brooklyn. Grandy and Kaling are also executive producing the Universal Television & 3 Arts Entertainment production with Howard Klein, Matt Warburton and Michael Spiller. 
Universal Music will release the first score album for the NBC hit drama This Is Us. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Siddhartha Khosla (Runaways, The Royals, The Neighbors). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 2 and will be available to download on 
Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, January 30, is the German television series Babylon Berlin co-created and -directed by Tom Tykwer and starring Volker Bruch, Liv Lisa Fries, Matthias Brandt, Hannah Herzsprung, Karl Markovics, Lars Eidinger and Sebastian Urzen. Tykwer also co-scored the show with Johnny Klimek (Run Lola Run, The International, Cloud Atlas, Sense8). BMG has released a soundtrack album featuring the score, as well as tracks by The Bryan Ferry Orchestra, Moka Efti Orchestra & more last fall when the drama premiered overseas. 
Premiering on Wednesday, January 31, is the YouTube Red original series Step Up: High Water created by Holly Sorensen and starring Ne-Yo, Naya Rivera, Lauryn McClain, Petrice Jones, Faizon Love and Marcus Mitchell.
