Also premiering tomorrow is the new NBC comedy drama Good Girls created by Jenna Bans and starring Christina Hendricks, Retta, Mae Whitman, Matthew Lillard, Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett and Izzy Stannard. Michael Penn (GirlsMasters of SexBoogie Nights, Solitary ManSunshine Cleaning) is composing the show’s original music. Premiering on Tuesday, February 27, is the USA limited series Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac & The Notorious B.I.G. developed by Kyle Long and starring Josh Duhamel, Marcc Rose, Wavyy Jonez, Jimmi Simpson, Bokeem Woodbine, Jamie McShane, Brent Sexton, Luke James, Aisha Hinds and Letoya Luckett. The show’s original music is composed by Joseph Trapanese (Straight Outta Compton, Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Only the Brave, Earth to Echo). Premiering on Wednesday, February 28, is the Hulu limited series The Looming Tower based on book of the same title by Lawrence Wright and starring Jeff Daniels, Tahar Rahim, Michael Stuhlbarg, Peter Sarsgaard, Wrenn Schmidt, Bill Camp, Louis Cancelmi, Virginia Kull, Ella Rae Peck and Sullivan Jones. Premiering on Friday, March 2, is the Japanese anime series B: The Beginning produced by Production I.G. and Kazuto Nakazawa. The show’s original music is composed by Yoshihiro Ike. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from the series’ first season digitally on Friday and physically a few weeks later. Also premiering on Friday is the French-Candian thriller Les affamés (The Ravenous) written and directed by Robin Aubert and starring Marc-André Grondin, Monia Chokri, Micheline Lanctôt, Brigitte Poupart, Charlotte St-Martin, Marie-Ginette Guay Luc Proulx and Édouard Tremblay-Grenier. Pierre-Philippe Côté (Blame) has composed the movie’s original music. The thriller premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and was released in Canadian theaters last fall. The film will premiere in the U.S. and other markets exclusively on Netflix.

Missing from last week’s TV music roundup was the Netflix original series Seven Seconds created by Veena Sud and starring Clare-Hope Ashitey, Regina King, Beau Knapp, Russell Hornsby, Michael Mosely, David Lyons, Raul Castillo and Zackary Momoh. The show’s original music is composed by Bobby Krlic (Shooter, Triple 9, Almost Holy).
