Premiering tonight is the new CBS drama Matlock developed by Jennie Snyder Urman inspired by the classic 80s/90s series of the same name and starring Kathy Bates, Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, Leah Lewis and David Del Rio. The show’s original music is composed by Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Wrestlers, Twisted Metal, Fright Krewe, Obliterated, Good Sam, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man). James Jandrisch (Reasonable Doubt, Houdini and Doyle, Luck, Dangerous Lies, 2 Hearts, Tiny Pretty Things, Somewhere Between) is scoring the new FOX drama Murder in a Small Town. The show is based on nine-book Karl Alberg series by novelist L.R. Wright and stars Rossif Sutherland, Kristin Kreuk, Mya Lowe, Aaron Douglas, Savonna Spracklin and Fritzy-Klevans Destine, as well as special guest stars James Cromwell, Stana Katic, Paula Patton and Noah Reid. The murder mystery series follows a man who moves to a quiet coastal town to soothe a psyche that has been battered by big-city police work, when gets called upon all the skills that made him a world-class detective in solving the murders that continue to wash up on his shore.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the thriller Honest Thief co-written and directed by Mark Williams and starring Liam Neeson, Kate Walsh, Jai Courtney, Jeffrey Donovan, Robert Patrick, Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It, The Accountant, Warrior, Once Upon a Time). Music.Film Recordings & Varese Sarabande have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the romantic drama 2 Hearts directed by Lance Hool and starring Jacob Elordi, Adan Canto, Tiera Skovbye, Kari Matchett, Tahmoh Penikett, and Radha Mitchell. ‘2 Hearts’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Transition Music & Entertainment Studios Music Group will release a soundtrack album for the romantic drama 2 Hearts. The album features the original songs from the movie performed by We Are The West. Also included is the film’s original score composed by James Jandrisch (Dangerous Lies, Houdini & Doyle, Radio Rebel). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 16. The purchase link will be added to this page later tonight. 2 Hearts is directed by Lance Hool and stars Jacob Elordi, Adan Canto, Tiera Skovbye, Tahmoh Penikett, Kari Matchett and Radha Mitchell. The movie is based on the true stories of Leslie & Jorge Bacardi of the Bacardi rum empire and centers on two couples from different decades and different places who are brought together by a hidden connection.

The movie is directed by Michael Scott and stars Camila Mendes, Jessie T. Usher, Jamie Chung, Cam Gigandet, Sasha Alexander and Elliott Gould. The thriller revolves around a broke caregiver who unexpectedly inherits her patient’s estate, but dark secrets swirl around her newfound wealth, tangling her in deceit and danger.
