Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the thriller Honest Thief co-written and directed by Mark Williams and starring Liam Neeson, Kate Walsh, Jai Courtney, Jeffrey Donovan, Robert Patrick, Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It, The Accountant, Warrior, Once Upon a Time). Music.Film Recordings & Varese Sarabande have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the romantic drama 2 Hearts directed by Lance Hool and starring Jacob Elordi, Adan Canto, Tiera Skovbye, Kari Matchett, Tahmoh Penikett, and Radha Mitchell. James Jandrisch (Dangerous Lies, Houdini & Doyle) has composed the film’s original score and We Are The West have provided the songs. Transition Music and Entertainment Studios Music Grou have released a soundtrack album featuring both songs and score today. Soundtrack Album for John Hyams’ ‘Alone’ to Be Released

Nima Fakhrara (The Signal, The Pyramid, Becky, The Girl in the Photographs, Detroit: Become Human) will release a soundtrack album for John Hyams’ thriller Alone. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and will be released digitally tomorrow, October 14 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and all other major digital music stores. Alone is directed by Hyams, written by Mattias Olsson and stars Jules Wilcox, Marc Menchaca and Anthony Heald. The movie is set in the Pacific Northwest wilderness and follows a recently widowed woman who, fleeing the city in a desperate attempt to cope, is kidnapped and locked away in a mysterious man’s cabin.

‘Alone’ Soundtrack Album Details

Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Hangman, Doom: Annihilation, Vengeance: A Love Story) will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Alone. The album features the Wiedmann’s original score from the film, as well as the original song In Light of Darkness written by the composer himself and Gemma Kyle. The soundtrack is set to be released digitally on October 17, 2020 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. Alone is directed by Johnny Martin and stars Tyler Posey, Donald Sutherland, Summer Spiro, Robert Ri’chard and John Posey. The movie revolves around a lonely surfer who one day awakens to find that a global pandemic has turned most of humanity into bloodthirsty zombies.

Weekly Film Music Roundup (September 18, 2020)

The only movie opening in theaters nationwide this week is the political thriller Infidel written and directed by Cyrus Nowrasteh and starring Jim Caveziel, Claudia Karvan, Hal Ozsan, Stelio Savante and Aly Kassem. The album features the film’s original music composed by Natalie Holt (The Honourable Woman, Journey’s End, Knightfall, Press, Beecham House, Deadwater Fell). No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which revolves around an American journalist/blogger who is kidnapped while attending a conference in the Middle East and is put on trial for trumped-up charges of espionage, is being released by Cloudburst Entertainment.

Already playing in around 400 theaters since this past Wednesday is the thriller The Secrets We Keep co-written and directed by Yuval Adler and starring Noomi Rapace, Joel Kinnaman, Chris Messina and Amy Seimetz. John Paesano (The Maze Runner, Daredevil, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, The Star, My All American, When the Game Stands Tall) has composed the film’s original music. Frederik Wiedmann Scoring Johnny Martin’s ‘Alone’

Frederik Wiedmann is reuniting with director Johnny Martin on the upcoming thriller Alone. The film starring Donald Sutherland, Tyler Posey, Summer Spiro and Robert Ri’chard follos a man who who barricades himself inside his apartment when his complex is overrun by infected screamers and discovers a girl across his courtyard who is also trapped inside her house and must find a way out for both of them. Matt Naylor wrote the screenplay. Martin is also producing the project with Rabih Aridi and Anne Jordan.
