Frederik Wiedmann is reuniting with director Johnny Martin on the upcoming thriller Alone. The film starring Donald Sutherland, Tyler Posey, Summer Spiro and Robert Ri’chard follos a man who who barricades himself inside his apartment when his complex is overrun by infected screamers and discovers a girl across his courtyard who is also trapped inside her house and must find a way out for both of them. Matt Naylor wrote the screenplay. Martin is also producing the project with Rabih Aridi and Anne Jordan. Wiedmann has previously collaborated with the director on the features Vengeance: A Love Story starring Nicolas Cage and Hangman starring Al Pacino. Alone is expected to be released in 2020.

Wiedmann (Green Lantern: The Animated SeriesField of Lost ShoesThe Scorpion King: Book of Souls) whose recent projects include Doom: Annihilation, Jarhead: Law of Return and Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, which all were released this fall, is also returning to score the third season of Netflix’s The Dragon Prince (premiering on November 22). He has also composed the music for Pearry Teo’s horror thriller The Assent, which just premiered at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.
