Waxwork Records has released a soundtrack album for the HBO original series The Righteous Gemstones. The album features the original score from the show’s first season composed by Joseph Stephens (Observe and Report, Eastbound & Down, Flower, Vice Principals). Also included is the song Misbehavin’ written by Stephens, Danny McBride & Edi Patterson and performed by Aimee-Leigh & Baby Billy, as well as tracks by Heavy Young Heathens and The Math Club. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. A vinyl edition is also in the works. The Righteous Gemstones is created by Danny McBride who also stars in the series alongside John Goodman, Edi Patterson, Adam Devine, Cassidy Freeman, Tony Cavalero, Tim Baltz and Greg Alan Williams. The comedy, which tells the of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work, premiered this summer and has been renewed for a second season.
