Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the FX original series Grotesquerie. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Morgan Kibby (The Watcher, Mothering Sunday, The Power, Girls of the Sun, Grand Army, Queens, Wilderness, Tales of the Walking Dead). Also included is actresses Niecy Nash’s & Micaela Diamond’s rendition of I Don’t Know How to Love Him (written by Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice for the stage musical Jesus Christ Superstar). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Also listen to Kibby’s main title theme and the song after the jump. ‘Say Nothing’ Soundtrack Album Details
Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the FX limited series Say Nothing. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Sion Trefor. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 15 and will be available to stream/download on any major digital music services, including Amazon. Say Nothing is created by Joshua Zetumer based on Patrick Radden Keefe’s best-selling book of the same name and stars Lola Petticrew, Hazel Doupe, Anthony Boyle, Maxine Peake and Josh Finan. The 9-part thriller opens with the disappearance of a single mother of ten who was abducted from her home in 1972 and never seen alive again and tells the story of several Irish Republican Army (IRA) members during The Troubles in Northern Ireland.

The show’s original music is composed by Murray Gold (Doctor Who, Gentleman Jack, Torchwood, Dead Ringers, It’s a Sin, A Very English Scandal, Quiz) who previously scored 2022’s original Magpie Murders series. Premiering on Tuesday, September 17, is the ABC comedy High Potential created by Drew Goddard and starring Kaitlin Olson, Daniel Sunjata, Javicia Leslie, Amirah J, Deniz Akdeniz, Matthew Lamb and Judy Reyes. Josh Kramon (Veronica Mars, iZombie, Forever, Party Down, October Road) and Jake Staley (Valor, 7 Below) are composing the show’s original score. The series, which follows single mom whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective, will air Tuesdays on ABC and will also be available to stream on Hulu.
‘Shōgun’ Vol. 2 Soundtrack Album to Be Released
Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for the FX original series Shōgun. The album features previously unreleased music from the show’s first season composed by Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Watchmen, Soul, Gone Girl), Leopold Ross (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, The Book of Eli, Death Note) and Nick Chuba (Thelma, The Girl from Plainville, Dr. Death) who have recently received an Emmy Award nomination for their score. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 16 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The label has previously released the original soundtrack back in February and Mutant has announced a vinyl edition. Shōgun is developed by Rachel Kondo & Justin Marks based on James Clavell’s classic novel and stars Cosmo Jarvis, Hiroyuki Sanada, Anna Sawai, Takehiro Hira, Hiroto Kanai, Tadanobu Asano, Shinnosuke Abe, Tokuma Nishioka, Moeka Hoshi, Yuka Kouri, Yuki Kura and Fumi Nikaido.
Eddie Vedder’s ‘Save It for Later’ Cover from ‘The Bear’ Season 3 Released
Republic Records has released the cover version of The Beat’s Save It for Later from the second episode (entitled Next) of the third season of the FX original series The Bear. The track produced by Andrew Watt and performed by Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. FX’s ‘The Bear’ Season 3 Features Music by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross
Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Challengers, Watchmen, Soul, Mank, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) have contributed music (based on the duo’s Nine Inch Nails track Together from the album Ghosts V: Together) to the first episode (entitled Tomorrow) of the third season of the FX original series The Bear. The show is created by Christopher Storer and stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Matty Matheson, Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon. The new season of the comedy follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Sydney Adamu & Richard “Richie” Jerimovich as they do what it takes to elevate their beef stand turned fine dining establishment to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business.
Soundtrack Album for FX’s ‘Clipped’ to Be Released
Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the FX limited series Clipped. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Wendy Wang (American Born Chinese, Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., Man Up). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 21 and will be available to stream/download here. Clipped is created by Gina Welch and stars Laurence Fishburne, Jacki Weaver, Ed O’Neill, Kelly AuCoin, Cleopatra Coleman, Rich Sommers, Corbin Bernsen, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Harriet Sansom and Clifton Davis. The 6-part drama tells the behind the scenes story behind notorious NBA owner’s racist remarks, captured on a tape heard around the world, and its impact on an ensemble of characters striving to win against the backdrop of the most cursed team in the league.
