Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Peacock original series The Five Star Weekend. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jake Staley (High Potential, Valor, 7 Below, Omnivore) & Josh Kramon (Veronica Mars, Party Down, iZombie, Forever, October Road). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 10 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Five Star Weekend is created by Bekah Brunstetter and stars Jennifer Garner, D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, Harlow Jane and Timothy Olyphant. The drama revolves around a best-selling author and famed cook who – after suffering a devastating loss – gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life in an effort to overcome grief and find herself again.

The show’s original music is composed by Murray Gold (Doctor Who, Gentleman Jack, Torchwood, Dead Ringers, It’s a Sin, A Very English Scandal, Quiz) who previously scored 2022’s original Magpie Murders series. Josh Kramon (Veronica Mars, iZombie, Forever, Party Down, October Road) and Jake Staley (Valor, 7 Below) are composing the show’s original score. The series, which follows single mom whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective, will air Tuesdays on ABC and will also be available to stream on Hulu.

Josh Kramon to Score Fox’s ‘Lethal Weapon’ TV Series
Josh Kramon announced on Twitter that he is composing the music for the upcoming Fox drama Lethal Weapon. The show is created by Matt Miller (Chuck, Human Target) and stars Clayne Crawford, Damon Wayans, Keesha Sharp, Jordana Brewster, Kevin Rahm, Chandler Kinney and Johnathan Fernandez. The show based on Richard Donner & Shane Black’s classic movie franchise starring Mel Gibson & Danny Glover follows the classic cop duo Martin Riggs & Roger Murtaugh as they work a crime-ridden beat in modern-day Los Angeles.

Josh Kramon to Score ABC’s ‘Forever’
Josh Kramon is scoring the upcoming ABC drama Forever. The show is created by Matthew Miller (Chuck, Human Target) and stars Ioan Gruffudd, Alana De La Garza, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie Keshawarz, Joel David Moore and Judd Hirsch. The series follows New York City’s star medical examiner who studies the dead to solve criminal cases and the mystery of his own inexplicable immortality. Miller is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Jennifer Gwartz (Veronica Mars, Cupid) and Dan Lin (The Lego Movie, Sherlock Holmes). Forever is set to premiere on September 23, 2014 and will air every Tuesday night on ABC.
Josh Kramon to Score The CW’s ‘iZombie’ and MTV’s ‘Happyland’
Josh Kramon is composing the score for the CW drama pilot iZombie. The show based on the DC Comics title of the same title is created by Rob Thomas & Diane Ruggiero and stars Rose McIver, Robert Buckley, Malcolm Goodwin, Alexandra Krosney and David Anders. The supernatural procedural and follows a medical student-turned-zombie who takes a job in the coroner’s office in order to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat so that she can maintain her humanity. Thomas is directing the pilot episode and also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Ruggerio, Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge. Kramon has previously collaborated with Thomas and the producers on the Veronica Mars show and its recent movie version, as well as Party Down and Cupid.
