Premiering on Thursday, July 9, is the Netflix original series Little House on the Prairie developed by Rebecca Sonnenshine based on Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House books and starringLuke Bracey, Crosby Fitzgerald, Alice Halsey, Jocko Sims, Skywalker Hughes, Warren Christie, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Meegwun Fairbrother, Wren Zhawenim Gotts and Barrett Doss. The show’s original music is composed by Dan Romer (Luca, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Lilo & Stitch, Station Eleven, Superman & Lois, Beasts of No Nation, Maniac, Beasts of the Southern Wild, The Good Doctor). Also premiering on Thursday is the Peacock original series The Five Star Weekend created by Bekah Brunstetter and starring Jennifer Garner, D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Chloë Sevigny, Regina Hall, Harlow Jane and Timothy Olyphant. Jake Staley (High Potential, Valor, 7 Below, Omnivore) and Josh Kramon (Veronica Mars,Forever, Party Down, iZombie, October Road) have composed the show’s original music. The drama, which revolves around a famed cook and best-selling author who – after suffering a devastating loss – gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life in an effort to overcome grief, will be available to stream exclusively on Peacock.
