Hollywood Records has released a digital version of the first score album for the FX original animated series Archer. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s seventh, eighth and ninth seasons composed and performed by J.G. Thirlwell (The Venture Bros). Also included is Scott Sims’ Archer Main Theme (listen to the track below). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. iam8bit has previously released a vinyl edition featuring Sims’ theme and 26 tracks of Thirlwell’s score last year. Archer is created by Adam Reed and features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Judy Greer, Chris Parnell, Amber Nash, Reed himself and Lucky Yates. The animated comedy follows Sterling Archer as he navigates the changing landscape of the spy world.

Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the FX limited series The Veil. The album features selections of the show’s original music, including the themes composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Taboo, Spaceman) and the score composed by Jon Opstad (Bodies, The Woman in White, Black Mirror: White Christmas & White Bear, We Hunt Together, Safe House). ‘Spermworld’ Soundtrack Album Released
Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the FX original documentary Spermworld. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ari Balouzian (Some Kind of Heaven, They Call Us Monsters, The Giant). Also included is the composer’s cover’s of The The’s This Is the Day (listen to the full track after the jump). Spermworld is directed by Lance Oppenheim and inspired by the New York Times article The Sperm Kings Have a Problem: Too Much Demand by Nellie Bowles and centers on the unregulated online marketplace for sperm as donors connect with hopeful parents.

Premiering on Tuesday, March 26, is the HBO original documentary The Truth vs. Alex Jones directed by Dan Reed and executive produced by Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller. The film’s original music is composed by David Schweitzer (Emma, Our Great National Parks, The Afterparty, Sanditon, Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King, The Reluctant Traveler). The movie, which tells the story of how families whose children were murdered at Sandy Hook took on conspiracy giant Alex Jones in two courtroom trials, holding Jones and InfoWars to account for the myths they started spreading hours after the atrocity, premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will premiere on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.
Premiering on Thursday, March 28, is the Swedish Netflix original series Ronja the Robber’s Daughter (Ronja Rövardotter) written by Hans Rosenfeldt based on Astrid Lindgren’s fantasy tale and starring Kerstin Linden, Jack Bergenholtz-Henriksson, Krista Kosonen, Christopher Wagelin, Maria Nohra, Sverrir Gudnason, Pernilla August, Johan Ulveson and Vera Vitali. Johan Söderqvist (Let the Right One In, Kon-Tiki, Madame Web, Anatomy of a Scandal, Battlefield V, After the Wedding, In a Better World) has composed the show’s original music. The show is developed by Rachel Kondo & Justin Marks based on James Clavell’s novel and stars Hiroyuki Sanada, Cosmo Jarvis, Anna Sawai, Tadanobu Asano, Takehiro Hira, Hiroto Kanai, Moeka Hoshi, Shinnosuke Abe, Tokuma Nishioka, Yuki Kura, Yuka Kouri and Fumi Nikaido.
