Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series Ren Faire produced and directed by Lance Oppenheim and executive produced by Elara Pictures. The show’s original music is composed by Ari Balouzian (Some Kind of Heaven, Spermworld, They Call Us Monsters, The Giant). The 3-parter, which explores the succession drama at the Texas Renaissance Festival and the power struggle between an actor, a former elephant trainer and a kettle-corn kingpin, all vying to claim the throne of the leader, 86-year-old George Coulams, will air Sundays on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.

Premiering on Tuesday, June 4, is the Disney+ original live-action Star Wars series The Acolyte created by Leslye Headland and starring Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Dafne Keen, CManny Jacinto, Charlie Barnett, Rebecca Henderson, Jodie Turner-Smith, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo and Carrie-Anne Moss. Michael Abels (Get Out, Nope, Us, Bad Education, The Burial, See You Yesterday, Landscape with Invisible Hand, Breaking) has composed the show’s original music. National Geographic’s ‘Photographer’ to Feature Music by Bryce Dessner, Robert Ouyang Rusli & Others

The full composer line-up of the new National Geographic documentary series Photographer has been revealed. The show pairs the world’s most extraordinary visual storytellers with today’s leading documentary filmmakers, with each episode focusing on the story of an iconic photographer. The National’s Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, Cyrano, Bardo, Manhunt, She Came to Me) has composed the score for the episodes Paul Nicklen & Cristina Mittermeier: Win or Die directed by E. Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin about two of the world’s most iconic working ocean photographers, and Dan Winters: Life is once. Forever. directed by Pagan Harleman about the photographer who is widely known for his unusual and iconic portraits of celebrities, street photography, scientific work, illustrations and capturing the “hallowed grounds” of NASA. Robert Ouyang Rusli (Problemista, Test Pattern, Bruiser) has scored the episode Campbell Addy: Feeling Seen directed by Crystal Kayiza & Sam Pollard about the fashion photographer who landed on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi epic Dune: Part Two directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Josh Brolin, Christopher Walken, Dave Bautista, Léa Seydoux and Javier Bardem. The film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Inception, The Lion King, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Interstellar, The Last Samurai). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Check out our previous news article for the full album details and to learn more about the Warner Bros. Opening in Los Angeles and New York today before expanding to more markets in the coming weeks is the comedy Problemista written and directed by Julio Torres and starring Torres himself, Tilda Swinton, Greta Lee, RZA, James Scully, Isabella Rossellini and Catalina Saavedra. Robert Ouyang Rusli (aka OHYUNG) (Test Pattern, Bruiser) has composed the film’s original music. A24 Music will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on March 15. ‘Problemista’ Soundtrack Album Details

A24 Music will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Problemista. The album features the film’s original score composed by Robert Ouyang Rusli (aka OHYUNG) (Test Pattern, Bruiser). Also included is the original song Huele a Fraude by OHYUNG & STEFA* (aka Stefa Marin Alarcón). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 15, 2024 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first score track (Monument to Possibilities) and Huele a Fraude are already available to stream/download now and can also be check out below. Problemista is written and directed by Julio Torres and stars Torres himself, Tilda Swinton, RZA, Greta Lee, James Scully, Catalina Saavedra and Isabella Rossellini.

‘Bruiser’ Soundtrack Album Details

Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for the drama Bruiser. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robert Ouyang Rusli (Test Pattern, Problemista). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 24 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Bruiser is co-written and directed by Miles Warren and stars Trevante Rhodes, Jalyn Hall, Shamier Anderson and Shinelle Azoroh. The movie, which marks Onyx Collective’s first narrative feature, revolves around a 14-year-old boy who explores the boundaries of his manhood through tumultuous interactions with his strict father and a burgeoning mentorship with a mysterious drifter.

Walt Disney Records has released multiple EPs and digital singles featuring the music from the first season of the Disney+ Launchpad live-action short films from a new generation of storytellers. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms is a score suite from Aqsa Altaf’s American Eid composed by Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Runaways, Looking for Alaska), the song Island and the score from Hao Zheng’s Dinner Is Served composed by Xue Ran Chen, the song Medio Vivo by AG from Ann Marie Pace’s Growing Fangs, Renee Goust‘s song El son del Chupa y la Chepa from Jessica Mendez Siqueiros’ The Last of the Chupacabras, the full score for Stefanie Abel Horowitz’s Let’s Be Tigers composed by Tangelene Bolton, as well as the original score from Moxie Peng’s The Little Prince(ss) composed by Robert Ouyang Rusli.
