Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for Maggie Gyllenhaal’s drama The Lost Daughter. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dickon Hinchliffe (Leave No Trace, Locke, Winter’s Bone, Peaky Blinders, Out of the Furnace, Last Chance Harvey) The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, December 10 and is now available for pre-order here. A first track (Leda) is already coming out today and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms. Also listen to the full track below. The Lost Daughter marks Gyllenhaal’s feature directorial debut and stars Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Dakota Johnson, Ed Harris, Peter Sarsgaard, Paul Mescal, Dagmara Dominczyk, Jack Farthing, Alba Rohrwacher, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Panos Koronis. The movie revolves around a woman’s quiet seaside vacation that takes an unsettling turn when her fixation on a young mother staying at a nearby villa awakens memories from her past.

Dickon Hinchliffe (Leave No Trace, Winter’s Bone, Locke, Out of the Furnace, Peaky Blinders, Last Chance Harvey) has composed the original music for the upcoming drama The Lost Daughter. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and stars Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Dakota Johnson, Peter Sarsgaard, Paul Mescal, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ed Harris and Dagmara Domińczyk. The movie is based on the 2006 novel of the same title by Elena Ferrante and revolves around a woman whose beach vacation takes a dark turn when she begins to confront the troubles of her past.

Soundtrack Album for HBO’s & Sky’s ‘The Third Day: Winter’ to Be Released
Milan Records will release a second soundtrack album for the HBO/Sky limited series The Third Day. The album features the original music from the final part/last three episodes of the show, entitled Winter, composed by Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Out of the Furnace, Locke, Last Chance Harvey, Leave No Trace, Peaky Blinders). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 9 and will be available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio clips. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring Cristobal Tapia de Veer’s score from the drama’s first three episodes. The Third Day is created by Dennis Kelly & Felix Barrett and stars Naomie Harris, Jude Law, Katherine Waterston, Emily Watson and Paddy Considine. Winter is directed by Philippa Lowthorpe and follows a single mother as she comes to the mysterious British island of Osea, seeking answers.

Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the British comedy drama Misbehaviour. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Leave No Trace, Out of the Furnace, Locke, Peaky Blinders). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon Music. Misbehaviour is directed by Philippa Lowthorpe and stars Keira Knightley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jessie Buckley, Greg Kinnear, Lesley Manville, Keeley Hawes, Rhys Ifans and Phyllis Logan. The movie tells the true story of the 1970 Miss World contest and its disruption by the newly founded Women’s Liberation Movement.

Dickon Hinchliffe Scoring Netflix Documentary ‘Into the Deep’
Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Leave No Trace, Out of the Furnace, Locke, Peaky Blinders) has recently scored the upcoming Netflix documentary Into the Deep. The film is directed by Emma Sullivan who started documenting amateur inventor Peter Madsen in 2016. A year later, Madsen brutally murdered Swedish journalist Kim Wall on his homemade submarine in the waterways outside Copenhagen. Mette Heide (Amanda Knox) and Roslyn Walker are producing the project.
