Milan Records has released a new soundtrack album for the HBO original series In Treatment. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) (Queen & Slim, We Are Who We Are, Palo Alto, Mainstream). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Season 4 of In Treatment stars Uzo Aduba, Anthony Ramos, Liza Colón-Zayas, Quintessa Swindell John Benjamin Hickey and Joel Kinnaman. The drama is set in present-day Los Angeles and revolves around a therapist who helps her patients navigate a variety of modern concerns and issues such as the global pandemic and recent major social and cultural shifts.

‘Mainstream’ Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for Gia Coppola’s comedy drama Mainstream. The album features the film’s original music composed by Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) (Queen & Slim, We Are Who We Are, Passing) who previously scored the director’s last feature, Palo Alto. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 7 and will be available to stream/download here. Mainstream is co-written and directed by Coppola and stars Maya Hawke, Andrew Garfield, Nat Wolff, Kalena Yiaueki, Johnny Knoxville and Jason Schwartzman. The movie follows a young woman who thinks she’s found a path to internet stardom when she starts making YouTube videos with a charismatic stranger – until the dark side of viral celebrity threatens to ruin them both.
Soundtrack Album for HBO’s ‘We Are Who We Are’ Announced
Milan Records has announced a soundtrack album for the HBO limited series We Are Who We Are. The album features 12 tracks from the show’s original score composed by Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) (Queen & Slim, Palo Alto, Mainstream). Also included are four previously released instrumental tracks from composers Julius Eastman and John Adams. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 2, 2020 and will be available to stream/download here. We Are Who We Are is written and directed by Luca Guadagnino and stars Jack Dylan Grazer, Chloë Sevigny, Alice Braga, Spence Moore II, Kid Cudi, Jordan Kristine Seamón, Faith Alabi, Francesca Scorsese, Ben Taylor, Corey Knight, Tom Mercier and Sebastiano Pigazzi.
Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange) to Score Rebecca Hall’s ‘Passing’
Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) (Queen & Slim, Palo Alto) has revealed in a recent interview with Variety that he is composing the score for the upcoming drama Passing. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actress Rebecca Hall and stars Tessa Thompson, Ruth Negga, André Holland and Alexander Skarsgård. The movie is based on the Harlem Renaissance novel by Nella Larsen and ed the unexpected reunion of two high school friends, each of whom can “pass” as white but choose to live on opposite sides of the color line in 1928 Harlem.

Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the reboot of the classic detective series Van der Valk written by Chris Murray and starring Marc Warren, Maimie McCoy, Elliot Barnes-Worrell, Darrell D’Silva and Emma Fielding. The show’s original music is composed and conducted by Matthijs Kieboom (Wild, Bloody Marie). All3Media has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this year when the drama premiered in the UK. Premiering tomorrow, September 14, is the HBO limited series The Third Day created by Felix Barrett & Dennis Kelly, directed by Marc Munden and Philippa Lowthorpe and starring Jude Law, Naomie Harris, Katherine Waterston, Paddy Considine, Emily Watson, Nico Parker and Charlotte Gairdner-Mihell. Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Utopia, The Girl with All the Gifts, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency) and Dickon Hinchliffe (Winter’s Bone, Locke, Out of the Furnace) have composed the show’s original music. Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) is reteaming with director Gia Coppola to score the upcoming drama Mainstream. The film starring Andrew Garfield, Maya Hawke, Nat Wolff, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Knoxville, Chris Messina, Alexa Demie & Colleen Camp is being described as a cautionary tale about the devastating power of social media and follows three people who struggle to preserve their identities as they form an eccentric love triangle. Coppola also co-wrote the screenplay with Tom Stuart.

Netflix’s ‘Neo Yokio’ Features Music by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, BATHS, Dev Hynes & Jesse Novak
EDM producer and DJ Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (aka Orlando Tobias Edward Higginbottom) has composed the original music for the first episode of the new Netflix original series Neo Yokio. Jesse Novak (BoJack Horseman, The Mindy Project) has scored the second and sixth episode of the series and EDM artist BATHS (aka Will Wiesenfeld) composed the music for the third episode and also contributed a piece for the sixth episode. The anime series’ fourth episode features original music by singer/songwriter Dev Hynes (also known as Blood Orange).
