The only movie opening nationwide today is the sci-fi horror movie The Invisible Man written and directed by Leigh Whannell and starring Elisabeth Moss, Aldis Hodge, Storm Reid, Harriet Dyer and Oliver Jackson-Cohen . The film’s original music is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Shazam!, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, Annabelle Creation, Lights Out). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Opening in limited release is the drama Wendy co-written and directed by Benh Zeitlin (Beasts of the Southern Wild) and stars Devin France, Yashua Mack, Gage Naquin, Gavin Naquin, Ahmad Cage and Krzysztof Meyn. Dan Romer (Maniac, The Good Doctor, Atypical, Beasts of No Nation, Digging for Fire) and Zeitlin have composed the film’s original music. Dickon Hinchliffe has been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama Burden. The film is written and directed by Andrew Heckler and stars Garrett Hedlund, Andrea Riseborough, Forest Whitaker, Tom Wilkinson, Tess Harper and Usher. The movie tells the story of an orphan raised within the Ku Klux Klan who attempts to break away after the girl he falls in love with urges him to leave for a better life together. Robbie Brenner (Dallas Buyers Club, Escape Plan, Machine Gun Preacher, A Perfect Getaway) is producing the project for The Firm. Jeff Kwatinetz, Gabby Revilla and Kevin McKeon serve as executive producers.
