WaterTower Music has released a new soundtrack for the HBO original series The Leftovers. The EP features five tracks of the original music from the show’s third and final season composed by Max Richter (Waltz with Bashir, Taboo, Guerrilla, Miss Sloane, Disconnect). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released soundtracks for the first and second season of the drama. The Leftovers is created by Damon Lindelof & Tom Perrotta and stars Justin Theroux, Carrie Coon, Amy Brenneman and Christopher Eccleston.

Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the Showtime mini-series Guerrilla. The album features the original score from the show composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Taboo, Waltz with Bashir, Disconnect, Miss Sloane). Also included are the songs from the drama by Noir, Femi Kuti, Osibisa, Judy Mowatt, Curtis Mayfield, The Pioneers & more. The soundtrack will be released on May 12, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Guerrilla is created John Ridley (12 Years a Slave) and stars Idris Elba, Frieda Pinto and Babou Ceesay. The 6-parter tells the story of a politically active couple whose relationship and values are tested when they liberate a political prisoner and form a radical underground cell in 1970s London.

Max Richter is scoring the upcoming Showtime original series Guerrilla. The show is created John Ridley (12 Years a Slave, American Crime) and stars Idris Elba, Frieda Pinto and Babou Ceesay. The drama tells the story of a politically active couple whose relationship and values are tested when they liberate a political prisoner and form a radical underground cell in 1970s London. Ridley who is also directing the first two and final episodes and Elba are also executive producing the Fifty Fathoms and ABC Signature production with Michael J. McDonald (American Crime), Patrick Spence (Fortitude), Katie Swinden and Tracy Underwood.

‘Miss Sloane’ Soundtrack Details
EuropaCorp will release a soundtrack album for the dramatic thriller Miss Sloane. The album features the film’s original music composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Waltz with Bashir, Disconnect, Testament of Youth, The Congress). The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 9, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Miss Sloane is directed by John Madden (Shakespeare in Love) and stars Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Stulbarg, Alison Pill, Jake Lacy, Sam Waterston and John Lithgow. The movie tells the story a ruthless lobbyist who is notorious for her unparalleled talent and her desire to win at all costs, even when it puts her own career at risk.
Max Richter Scoring ‘The Sense of an Ending’ & FX’s ‘Taboo’
Max Richter has composed the music for the upcoming drama The Sense of an Ending. The film is directed by Ritesh Batra and stars Jim Broadbent, Charlotte Rampling, Michelle Dockery, Emily Mortimer, Harriet Walter and Edward Holcroft. The movie is based on Julian Barnes’ Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same title and follows a man who becomes haunted by his past and is presented with a mysterious legacy that causes him to re-think his current situation in life. Nick Payne has written the screenplay. Ed Rubin and David Thompson (Woman in Gold, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom) are producing the project.

Premiering tomorrow, October 24, is the new CBS comedy Man with a Plan created by Jackie & Jeff Filgo (That 70’s Show) and starring Matt LeBlanc, Liza Snyder, Kevin Nealon, Diana Maria Riva, Matt Cook and Jessica Chaffi. The show’s original music is composed by John Kimbrough (Winter Passing, Jump Tomorrow, A Decade Under the Influence). The series follows a contractor who must take on a more active parenting role when his wife goes back to work for the first time in 13 years. The comedy will air every Monday night on CBS. The series revolves around an adventure reporter who, after being sidelined by an injury, suddenly finds himself in his magazine’s digital/social media department, where he must manage a group of millennials.
